Tips for Gq Barber Lounge

For men who appreciate the finer things in Denver. As a long time customer of over 11 years, this is easily the finest place for men of distinction to get thier grooming needs met in Denver. Bill and his staff are consistently genuine in their desire to make your time with GQ memorable on each visit. Friendly and warm, it is an oasis in a world where men's grooming is alikened to a pit stop - in the chair, wash the hair, chop, chop, and go. Not here. At GQ its about the client and thier satisfaction and relaxation. Worth every cent.

Treat yourself - you won't want to settle for anyplace else!. I've been coming to GQ for something like 3 years now, and I have never been dissapointed. The staff is very professional and dedicated to making you feel comfortable and welcome. Sure it costs a little more than some places, but it's well worth it. I get a consistently great haircut every time I go in, but I also feel well taken care of. Everyone is warm and friendly and eager to help you feel comfortable. I can't imagine going anywhere else.

Thank you Ken, we really appreciate your support and the kind words. I showed Gina your comments yesterday and you know that big smile of hers. It really made her day. Thank you.

Don't be fooled..... .....By the other 11 glowing reviews. I agree with JPatrick58, this place is completely over-rated, not to mention over-priced. I got the hard press sales pitch for their products from the minute I sat down, had their other 'services' recited ad naseum and was booked for a second appointment almost without my consent. AND I got a lousy haircut, one that's going to cost me as much to fix as I paid for in the first place. Overall, a strip-mall-quality experience masquerading as a 'men's salon.' What a joke.

A great experience for my hubby and ME!. My husband and I had our first visit to GQ yesterday, and we're raving fans today! It was so lovely to have a spa day with my husband. He now understands why women spend what they do on spa services, where we're treated like queens. He came out looking and feeling great, and I had one of the most incredible massages ever, with Katie, who did a Ashiatsu massage (that means she uses her feet!) along with a traditional massage. It was so nice to know that while I was relaxing, that my husband was in the best of hands, being treated like a king and also getting great advice on how to groom and keep up with the best of the metrosexual crowd! :)

Highly recommend. Men should get a regular day at the spa too!

Wow, talk about overrrated. Guys,

Anyone who has been to a really good one of these will recognize a fraud when they see it. I received one of the worst haircuts I have ever gotten there and gave it one more chance. Different person, same result. Not one person listened to what I wanted, instead they gave me the same haircut they give everyone else and did not listen to what I wanted. If the result was better I would understand, but I am walking around with two of the worst haircuts I have ever gotten. The place is a bit cheesy and the staff is not well trained. If you have been to a real good place like this, see "grooming corner" in DC, you would realize that this place leaves a lot to be desired.

Avoid at all costs.

Best mens saloon in Denver. I first tried this place out at 18 tired of all the female saloons around Denver. I'm now 24 and haven't missed a month at GQ. The prices are a little high, but are more then worth it. I've never come across stylists that could listen and know what style I was going for like GQ. The staff is always friendly, and the managed Bill, is one of the most personable people around. I would highly recommend GQ to and guy looking for a retreat and a quick trim.

Will never get a $12 haircut again. This place is definitely worth the price tag. My consultation with the stylist was very informative, as she helped determine exactly what I needed and gave me advice to help keep my hair looking professional. They gave me a tour of the salon, which includes a shower that any of their clientele can use should they be downtown and need a private place to change. They also gave me coupons towards my next 3 visits, so I'll definitely be going back.

A great fix. My boyfriend loves to go to the places where he can get a cut for $12. When he had a chunk of hair missing from the back of his head, I decided enough was enough. He went to GQ and got a great cut, great customer service, and great recommendations for his thinning hair. They had a massage therapist there that was able to give him a free chair massage while he waited, which was awesome! I'm happy to know that I won't have to get out his beard trimmers to clean up the cheap cut anymore. :) Very nice to know that there are full service salons and spas for men too.

Step into a real man's salon, where hair, skin and massage services cater to the professional male.. In Short
This spa and salon strives to create a place where a man can pamper himself without losing pride. The decor creates the feel of traditional wealth without a pretentious attitude. Instead, the place feels vibrant and young--the magazine stand includes everything from Playboy to the latest financial rag. Services include everything from a basic haircut to skin treatments for the face and back, pedicures, manicures and scalp therapy to stimulate hair growth.

My Boyfriend Loves This Joint!!!. I purchased a gift certificate for my boyfriend for Valentines Day because he was jealous that I am always at the "ladies spa". Trust me, he's not a "spa guy" but he raves about GQ. He loved the valet parking, made him feel like king of Denver when the valet drove off in his pick up. He says the neck and shoulder massage made him feel like he was in the movies. They gave him a hot shave, a great haircut, and believe it or not, a manicure. He looks like a movie star. Ladies, get your men in here. In return he bought me a hot stone massage at Gentlemans Quarters-Hey, I'm not complaining, it is a female therapist!
