Opened in 1990, the Colorado Convention Center put Denver on the map as a city serious about competing for national conventions. The exhibition are boasts 300,000 square feet of area on one level. There are also 46 meeting rooms covering a combined 65,000 square feet and a 35,000-square-foot ballroom. A fiber optic network keeps the center wired from top to bottom, so convention-goers can check email and exhibitors can perform product demonstrations.
