The best coffee and eatery around...
by CS5280
If you are ever in Denver and want to treat your palette to the best cup of coffee, breakfast, lunch or anything on their menu, it will have the pleasure of tasting, then head down to either of the Tuscany Coffee's at 16th and Stout (across from Denver?s south bound light rail) or 1700 Lincoln in the Wells Fargo Center (it's the cash register building). People who inquire of me about the coffee and food here I usually respond with the analogy of it is like comparing a Cadillac to a Chevy (not that Chevy?s are bad I?ve owned a few myself, it?s just an analogy) when up against any of the myriad of coffee houses, which I have been to quite a few in different cities across the country and always find myself comparing coffee, sandwiches etc., to Tuscany. The ladies and gentlemen working the shop are the best you will encounter and will make you want to return! ENJOY, I do every chance I get!
- Pros: Read the review...
- Cons: None really... they are not everywhere but thats why they are so good!
Tuscany Coffee
by yogishe
I've been a Tuscany customer for more than 7 years. They have the tastiest coffee roasts around, fresh pastry and fast, friendly service. Phil, the owner always greets you with a smile and does what it takes to keep his customers happy. Tuscany is a gem, if your down around 17th/Lincoln, give it a try!
- Pros: Consistently great coffee and service
- Cons: Morning rush (~8:30am) can mean a long line
Great coffee!

I have been a Tuscany regular since 1999, when I was working in the cash register building. Although I no longer work in that building, I will still go out of my way (past several Starbucks, a Dietrichs and Curious Coffee) just to get my morning coffee at Tuscany. It is just plain better, and the service is friendly and efficient. Phil, Amanda, and the rest of the crew take time to get to know your name and what you like. They have the best breakfast bagels (egg & cheese) around, and the scones are always delicious. I even get my "home brew" coffee beans there, ground for french press. The Sienna (espresso roast) is awesome.
