Good food, quirky service. The food is satisfying, even for meat eaters. It's great as vegetarian to go out to eat and have a selection, as opposed to the pity option offered at other places. The service is slower, but you could always enjoy your company and avoid the obvious rush times for eating out. No, it's not exactly health food but I'm not a vegetarian only for the health benefits. Big favorites of mine are the buffalo wings (can be spicy for some), and gravy dishes. If you like coffee, go for a cup with your meal because it's the best.

Food is delish, but service is pretty bad. Food is the best!! Definitely not the healthiest, but vegetarian and really good. Service is very slow though so don't plan on dinner here if you just want a quick bite. I love this place!!

A Denver favorite... As a meat eater, I was hesitant to try this all vegetarian restaurant. That was years ago, because now, I eat there at least once a week. The biscuits and gravy and the seitan buffalo wings make my life a better place.

Owner throws employees onto street to save a buck!. The owner of Watercourse Foods is planning on abruptly firing 15 staff members after realizing his buisness is 90,000 dollars in debt. Please call Dan Landes or another manager and tell them this is bad buisness. Also please do not patronize such establishments that treat their staff so unfairly!!!!

Shady business. I dined with friends on Sept. 4th. We split the bill I put $20 on my credit card, they charged me $35. No big deal, I am sure just a mistake in closing out the check, right??? I call, leave message, no one calls me back, I call leave more angry message, Dan the GM calls me back, says he will re-credit me the $15. I check my account on the 26th, still no credit, call leave 3rd message, no one calls me back and still no credit, contacted my bank and they are investigating for me. I find it truly absurd that no one calls me back and that it has been a month and now they have lost a customer over their poor business practices.

Holy seitan, the food is good!. I'm a pretty easygoing eater and can usually find a bit of lettuce to nibble on wherever I go, so when I go to Watercourse it's akin to a culinary corset being undone. What a treat to be able to order anything on the menu without worrying if it's got any meat in it. It's freeing and spectacular and I can't even express how much I love this place. The vegan buffalo wings and the Portabello reuben are two of my faves. The tomato curry soup is to die for. I've taken my carnivorous friends and they've loved it. My new favorite place is Watercourse.

Best best veggie food in town, NOT a health restaurant. This place is wonderful! Many confuse it with a health restaurant, but unless you get a salad it is really just greasy vegan comfort food. YUM! The service and atmosphere is glorious. I have read a lot of nasty reviews about Watercourse since they moved to their new location, and I would say that is because they are being written by nasty people. Quality food should take a long time! It is all of you Uptown money mongers that give this place a bad name! Watercourse is the center of the veggie community in Denver, and should be treated as such! This is the place where you can relax, meet some like-minded folks and enjoy a wonderful, slow meal! Long Live the Denver veggie food monopoly known as Watercourse foods!

Vegan coconut cream pie is to die for!

My favorite. Watercourse being one of the best overall restaurants in Denver, and the best vegetarian friendly restaurant that I know, you have to expect it to be very busy, which it usually is. So it's good that they moved to a larger building that can accommodate more customers at once, although I did prefer the ambiance at the old place. My party of three arrived early last Sunday evening for dinner, and we didn't have to wait for a table at all. Our server was attentive and we ordered drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert. They got everything right, everything delicious, and everything was served promptly. I think now that the new location has been open a while they've worked out a lot of the kinks. I've been a vegetarian for 12 years and have eaten veggie food in California, Seattle, New York City, and London, and I feel lucky to live near Watercourse, the best veggie restaurant overall that I've been to. Their menu is exhaustive, with every vegetarian protein source you can think of (tofu, tempeh, seitan, legumes, etc), so many ethnic foods represented (including American, Thai, Mexican, Mediterranean,...), and creatively combined and seasoned foods. I always try something different and I'm always delighted. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. And all that at affordable prices. Go there and enjoy!

Tasty Food and Hipster Enviro! Make reservations, as this is no secret!. My fiance and I eat here at least every other week on Friday nights. We know we can get something healthy and full of flavor before going to the movies or going out on the town. Portion sizes are LARGE and in CHARGE, so you can absolutely split a dish or be prepared to box half of it to go!

We have only gone on Friday nights before the dinner rush, and the longest wait we've had is a half hour. I spoke with the host last week, and he said they definitely take reservations, so we'll be doing that next time around! There are usually people waiting to be seated, and once you're dining, you can tell everyone around you is going to take their sweet time eating and chatting it up.

Seriously, the people watching is half the fun when you go to this place. You won't be able to count on your hands and feet how many pairs of thick rimmed glasses, bohemian scarves, and faux-hawks there are.

Now to the food. I usually get the Juan Wrap or the Veggie Burger. The green hot sauce they have on the table REALLY heats things up! Also be sure to try the organic ginger ale!

The desserts always look AMAZING. We recently split some gluten free carrot cake, and it was delicious.

If you're a meat eater, you will DEFINITELY be able to find something on the menu you'll like. There are so many choices on the menu that you'll go crazy trying to decide which one you'd like to try!

I would definitely recommend eating here. I haven't tried the breakfast menu yet, but that is next on my list to do!

Wonderful food and variety, so-so service. Watercourse is a vegetarians dream! Most place leave 1 or 2 options open, not WC. The menu is filled with great food with a variety of tastes. That being said, my husband is a meat eater and also claims the food is excellent. However, if fast and attentive service is your priority this may not be the place for you. My favorite is the the chilequitas and the biscuits are to die for! My husband says the onion rings are the best he's ever had.
