Editorial Review for Charlie Brown's Bar & Grill – by Dave Flomberg
In Short
Salt-of-the-earth folks come here, courtesy of the neighborhood ambience. From the outside, the bar is known by it's deco neon sign, but the bar's most notable fixture inside is Paulie, an elderly, nearly blind pianist who sings or accompanies performers. The extensive menu ranges from burritos to lobster tails, and the bar rings up each sale on a '50s-era cash register. On summer nights, the patio becomes a popular hang out.

I am a Charlie Browns lover. It is my favorite place in Denver to go and chill after work, grab dinner on a Friday night, or have Sunday breakfast (Mexican skillet is the best!) I like all the staff, food, drinks, ambiance, everything. The happy hour with free snacks on Friday is a nice bonus as well. If you want a spot to hang out and just kick back this is the place.
Pros: Food, drinks, happy hour, breakfast on the weekends
Cons: None

I moved to the neighborhood about 2 months ago and have been to Charlie Browns on several occasions. While the place is clean, the staff needs an attitude adjustment. I agree with the previous poster about that brunette bimbo. She is nothing short of rude and nasty. The place is clean, I will give it that and the food is absolutely horrible. I would not recommend this place at all.
Pros: The place is clean, ample parking in back
Cons: The Staff and Prices
