FOOD POISONING. We ordered the appetizer and as we did we told our server that I am alergic to fish. she ashured us that there was no fish in any of the things we were ordering. SHE WAS WRONG!

not only was I sick that night but the food was horrible, the cheese in the dish we ordered was hard and the appetizer icky. WE will not be going back!

One Of My Fav's For Years. You could say I'm a regular. I get my food to-go more often than not but when I dine there I always have a satisfying experience.

The food is very authentic and when they say spicy,

it IS spicy so beware if you have a mild palate.

I go for Chicken Tika Masala with Garlic Na'an and it's so good that my mouth is watering as I type this. lol.

The menu is a little pricier than most Indian places.

Full bar and fast attentive staff. And like any other restaurant doing it right, it's often crowded but the wait is worth it and they have a bar to hang at while waiting.

Like I said, parking sucks as they have a tiny lot so if it's full just park at Starbucks on the corner of 6th and Grant.

For the pricey menu and the parking issue, I deducted a star.

But overall

Can't beat Little India for Indian food.

Werd to ya Indian mama.....

Yum!. My favorite thing about living in Denver may just be how close I am to this restaurant. Their chicken tikka masala and saag paneer are terrific! What else can I say? I love the food here.

TOO EXPENSIVE FOR WHAT YOU GET!. For what you get and the poor service that gets rendered....it's only a one time visit. Some thing are good but they are $$$$$! Give the people of Denver a break!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A SHAME!!!

This place will set the standards. seriously, where do i start? this place sets the standards. i work close to downtown and i have gotten so tired of fast food (not to mention put on a few pounds) i went to this place (on 6th ave) there are more locations. i gotta tell ya, you have to try this place out for yourself, i was reading the reviews about this place and it left me in awe. the 3rd time i was there the staff acknowledged me by my name which really made my day... and also made me realize that OK I AM EATING AT THIS PLACE TOO MUCH. my favorite days to go for the lunch buffet are friday and tuesday because they have butter chicken which by the way is to die for. service is ALWAYS prompt and i can actually be in and out in the 30 minute lunch break that i have. i order the delicious mango lassi and water with no ice everytime, they bring it to me right away without me even asking for it! i cant say that i know a lot about indian food, but i will say this i cant imagine any place being better than this one, the manager/owner?-no matter how jam packed they are will make sure he personally goes to ALL the tables and see to it that they are completely satisfied, the staff is excellent and soooooo verrrry well spoken and warm! you just feel so welcome here its like my 2nd home I LOVE LITTLE INDIA!!

Got Masala?. Hello everyone. my wife and i recently moved to the wash park area, so with unpacking and all, lately all the meals have been at home. Our 1st night out last week we headed on over to Little India (6th ave) location. they were pretty busy, nonetheless we were accommodated quickly. How can i 4 get how heavenly it smelled inside? it seemed they didnt have enough wall for all the awards SHEESH... the food was so delicious; i had the chicken tikka masala and my wife had the fish tandoori...now i usually dont like fish but WOW everything was just great.... neighborhood restaurants like these grow more and more scarce everyday. Im glad that Little india is so close to us although i gotta say they're lunch buffet is a steal and its spoiled me a bit...............oh well!

excellent service, food and atmosphere AWESOME MANAGEMENT

A Culinary Extravaganza !!. Dear Fellow Foody,

I am writing this to recognize and compliment the excellent food that I was fortunate enough to savor. I was recently in Denver visiting family and while perusing my yearning for a good home-cooked meal I chanced upon a little India?.The Little India restaurant. Being a self-proclaimed connoisseur of Indian food I was very skeptical of the fare that would be offered, but I was in for a very pleasant surprise. They have a delightful cornucopia of drinks and cocktails to start with. Every dish is aptly represented in the menu, from the fiery vindaloos to the creamy kormas; the food is lip-smacking with the scrumptious aromas living up to their promise.

I, therefore, wish to invite one and all to experience this culinary extravaganza into the exotic and authentic Indian cuisine.

traditional indian cuisine. My husband has been an Indian food lover for a while, but i wouldn't try it. I finally gave in and off we went to little India. Lets just say i'm a convert now ! We've been there several times and have never been disappointed by the food or service. Both are excellent .Every meal starts with a complimentary order of papadum and tamarind chutney. We go there regularly. We have always received a good welcome with excellent service. I particularly like the Chicken saag and Bharta Makhani.
