Reallly?. Worst night ever at "Es and Em's comedian" night. After the "comedians" Em and Es yelled obscene remarks at a friend of ours for thirty minutes without saying one funny thing, the entire crowd told them to shut the f up and move on to another topic, eventually lost interest, and ignored them until the host of this function literally tried to beat one of us up on the way out to our car. I guess to change our opinion of his $hitty performance? Awful. I'm not sure if he was drunk or what, but he's lucky he didn't get his head cracked or get arrested. And watch out for the druggies on the street, they have guns and are on meth. Don't bring friends/girlfriends if you want to have a good time.

Good bar that used to be a great bar. ***********************Honestly not sure what it is but...this place isn't as much fun as it used to be.**********************

You want to be a regular. this is the sort of bar that has regulars first of all... a GOOD thing. the bartenders know you by drink first, name second. if you're lucky, you get a nic-name. You see everyone here. Friendly to all sorts, just don't be an a$$ and you'll be fine. sarcasm a plus. Rockabilly music is played live. The jukebox is great. and there's no sticker shock on the drink prices.

Welcome to 1957. Belly up and have yourself a drink.. In Short
One of the last truly retro-styled bars in town, this Golden Triangle spot has been a bastien of rockabilly and swing for years. The walls are adorned with pictures of Bille Holiday, Chet Baker, the Rat Pack and even the King himself, while the jukebox is most likely playing Louis Jordan or the Tennessee Boys. There's one pool table in the house, but it's usually overrun by guys with greasy hair and really big cuffs.

Bad Move.. The new location is awful. The old Skylark was pretty special, but the feeling is just gone.

Plus the novelty is lessened while the drink prices are increased!

Frickin' Great Place. Makes the other bars in the same area look like jokes. This is a REAL bar.
