Unfortunately there are no good liquor stores in Denver, and Argonaut is no exception. Although they are usually much cheaper than the mom-and-pop stores around town, you cannot walk in, buy some brew and expect to drink it once you get home. Their beer cooler is a "cooler" in name only, as you can expect to have to chill it for an hour before drinking. If you are commuting from the 'Burbs I highly recommend stopping at Total Beverage (cheaper, better selection), Arrow Liquormart, Davidson's, or any of the other mega liquor stores on they way home instead. By the way there is nothing "convenient" on Colfax.
Pros: Selection, price
Cons: Bitter clerks, more bitter stock people, warm beer, terrible parking, requiring your first born child as a deposit on kegs/taps
