Colorado Ballet continues to out-perform regional professional companies all over the U.S.. In Short
The Colorado Ballet has blossomed from its humble beginnings as a local ballet school more than 40 years ago. Founders Lillian Covillo and Freidann Parker transformed the school into an internationally acclaimed company. The company is equally at ease performing traditional favorites and dancing the debuts of new, more experimental pieces. The Academy wing of Colorado Ballet is a breeding ground for new dance talent, while the Colorado Ballet II gives academy students a chance to gain performance experience.
