In Short
A pink and blue color scheme, white tile floors and hacienda-like arched windows combine for a subtle Southwestern motif at this fast-food chain. Founded in Southern California in 1962 by Glen Bell (who invented the pre-fab hard taco shell), this casual order-at-the-counter Mexican restaurant features classics like tacos, nachos, quesadillas and burritos. In recent years, menu offerings have expanded to include specialty items like gorditas, chalupas and cinnamon twists.

NO Quiero Taco Bell.
As of 2005, there are 5,845 Taco Bell restaurants in the United States, and we have one on our campus in the most unique building around. Chalk up another victory for young adult obesity.
Over the last several years, Yum! Brands, Inc. has been co-locating its various restaurant franchises (KFC, Long John Silver's, A&W, and Pizza Hut).
In 1998 by Joseph Shields and Thomas Rinks claimed Taco Bell failed to pay them for use of the Chihuahua character they created. The two men received $30.1 million, plus an addition of $11.4 million in interest.
