Find another vet! Avoid this one. – Do NOT go here unless absolutely necessary. Dr Warren is a greedy self-centered individual and will do anything, say anything to run up the bill. His first concern is making money. He will use your love and concern for your cat to pad the bill any way he can and clearly has little true compassion for either the cat or owner. I recommend Tender Touch Animal Hospital for true professional, compassionate care.
If you want to be completely taken advantage of then bring your Cat here – This was the worst Vet experience I have ever had. I brought my cat to Dr. Ikeler because she kept sneezing. Dr. Ikeler took her temperature and listened to her heart and told me that she had a cold that would clear up with antibiotics. He proceeded to give her a shot of antibiotics and gave me a supply to give to her. The total visit took all of five minutes and when I went to pay they had charged me $250.00! It cost me $100.00 to have her temperature taken. When I asked them why they were charging such an outrageous amount they told me it was because Dr. Ikeler is a "cat specialist". I have never felt more taken advantage of in my life. It was completely apparent to me that Dr. Ikeler is more motivated by money that animal care and it is unfortunate that someone so unethical is permitted to take advantage of pet owners.
Compassion and care aplenty – My cat had cancer, and for the final six months of his life, Dr. Warren and the staff at the Acoma Animal Hospital did all they could to improve his quality of life and ensure his comfort. They were compassionate and caring, and had excellent bedside manner with both myself and my cat. I boarded my cat there with complete confidence. When the sad day finally came, Dr. Warren came to my house to put my cat to sleep so he would be in familiar surroundings. When I get another pet, I will take him/her there without a doubt.
"cat hospital" ?? yeah, right. – this place charges $5 just for pulling your pet's file.
we were told we'd be called to folow up on our pet's care, but we had to call 4 times before we got the follow up we wanted.
we were given little to NO information about our cat's life threatening illness. the person who gave me the info wasn't even the vet, it was the vet tech over the phone.
they charged an arm and a leg and gave us NO helpful advice.
do NOT go to acoma. it's a rip off, they don't care about the animals and the vets pawn all their work off on vet techs who don't know what they're talking about.
Poor service all around – I thought this place was going to be a great find, but soon learned that the staff was rude and didn't follow through on promises made. Also, I was told that I needed to buy and give my cat antibiotics even though they didn't find any abnormal results on the tests they performed. Not once did they call when they said they would, and when I called them, they gave me attitude. What should have been completed in less than 2 days (this was their claim) was dragged out for over 6 weeks.
