What People Are Saying About Pints Pub

In Short – The red phone booth outside the building and the British flags hanging from the roof help contribute to the authentic English pub atmosphere. In addition to Pints' own brews, there are plenty of imported British swigs like Whitbread, Newcastle Brown and a Welsh ale called Felinfoel, which is sweet with a distinct hint of sherry. Burgers are served thick and juicy and the Beddar Wimpy--a cheddar-and-bacon cheeseburger--is a house specialty.
Rude Rude Rude

They have one beer that I think is very good and of course you can't beat the selection of Scotch. However, I would find it painful to know that I am supporting an owner that is quite frankly an Ass. I came to him with a fairly minor request/complaint to have him basically tell me that he didn't care. Well I don't care if you GO OUT OF BUSINESS and move your ass back to wherever you came from..England! I came back another time because it is close to my work to have a similar experience with the manger. Perhaps he is the son.?
- Pros: Scotch Whiskey and Beer
- Cons: Owner is Apathetic as is Scott? one of the managers
Mediocre food, bad service

I was excited to have an authentic British pub experience. I guess it was authentically British: slow and inattentive service and mediocre food. Charming atmosphere and the beer is ok. A disappointment.
MANAGER AND OWNER WERE RUDE
by ssjackson
Came to pints for lunch with our kids and had very average food, but the atmosphere was decent. The real problem was when the bill came our waitress charged us $2.95 each for 2 kids lemonade that came in a very small coffee mug. We paid the bill and my husband asked the owner about it on the way out and he brushed us off and said" Oh well...that's the cost of a lemonade...if you don't like it, don't come back" By the way, same price as an adult lemonade which comes in a pint glass...not a good bargain if you're a kid. No real harm done, so we decided we might go back the next week and have a beer (WITHOUT THE KIDS) and called ahead to see if the owner would be in. In a light hearted tone I said we'd prefer to come when the owner wasn't in and the manager (Scott) told me "he's always in, so don't bother coming in EVER!"
Don't worry Scott..we wont and I hope anyone reading this review will do the same.
- Pros: none
- Cons: rude
