Very Good. The four of us were looking for a place to eat prior to a show at the New Civic Center. We all instantly knew were as soon as we got a whiff from the kitchen. It patio was nice. I kinda though the furniture sat a little low. (something you wouldn't expect a 5'4" dude to say. had to tuck my legs under my seat to keep from kicking my girlfriend.) However, that was my only complaint. The service was good. They don't just crank plates. It was dinner at a nice relaxing pace. The bill was <$90 for four people including a Margarita and Negra Modelo.

I thought the food was good, and the overall experience was quite positive.

Great Mex Place on Santa Fe. El Noa Noa is a simple place with great food. It isn't pretentious or overdone, just a good ole mexican place on Santa Fe. There is plenty of seating and the service was good.

If you don't like it, don't go to Mexico!!!. For years, this is about as good as it gets without being overcome by what American's think to be "real" mexican food. THIS IS IT!!! Unchanged and as authentic as you can get without going to Mexico itself! If you go, be ready to relax and enjoy the experience, there's no rushing around or urgency which is part of the allure and culture you are to experience!!! No sales pressure or "upgrading" and the most spectacular patio within the city limits BAR NONE!!! If you speak spanish, they welcome it. If you don't like the food, try something else next time, this is the real deal and not "TexMex" so not so some people's liking, but don't give up for just one experience because they all get better with time :)

Traditionally great food!. With all the new development on Santa Fe what a great place to stop, relax and enjoy some good authentic Mexican food. The patio is fabulous on a warm fall day, great family atmosphere, the service and food; muy fabuloso!

Horrible service and food dont ever go here!. We went there b/c the sign said breakfast served all day. We waited 10 minutes for a waitress. When we asked about the breakfast menu she said "I dont know". We then waited another 15 minutes just to get drinks while we watched another table get sat after us and get service and drinks immediatly by the same waitress. I had to flag down a host to get a breakfast menu. Then a different waitor came and took our order. When we finally got our food it was not a breakfeast burrito like I had ordered. They took it back to add potatoes, which I was charged for, and when I got the food back it was cold. I asked to speak to a manager and they said the manager was gone and we could call later to speak to him. WHAT KIND OF RESTAURANT HAS NO MANAGER ON A BUSY SUNDAY? I told them we are not paying until we speak with a manager. Our waitor picked up the phone and said should I call the police now. I have never had anyone threaten to call the police on me in my life and then I move to Colorado and go out to eat and it happens. So they called the manager on the phone who was not helpful at all. We just payed and left. Terrible experience.

Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Authentic Mexican restaurant offers enchiladas, flautas and chicken mole, as well as popular margaritas and outdoor seating.

Like Dining in Mexico. Went here on a Friday evening after doing the Art Walk on Santa Fe. We had reservations for a large group on the patio.

Started off with a Top Shelf margarita. Munched on chips and salsa while serenaded by the Mariachi band. These are the same guys that play at Nick's Garden center and are much in demand.

Chose the Caldo de Siete Mares. A wonderful seafood soup containing clams, shrimp, fish, calamari, squid and two other seafoods. The portion is so big that I had to take it home. It was equally superb the next day.

It was a clear, hot night and as the sun set, I was reminded of dining in Mexico - except that I didn't have to pay $1000 to get there.

"El Yummy Yummy". Whenever friends come to town and want Mexican, I take them to El Noa Noa's. Noa's serves great Mexican food and even better margaritas. You'll find the usual suspects on the menu (enchiladas, flautas, chile rellenos, etc) and some dishes you might not have heard of. Be sure not to pass up the chicken molé - thick, rich and chocolatey. The traditional dishes are equally as tasty and very generous in size.

El Noa Noa's does get pretty packed on weekends, especially Friday nights when there are mariachis roaming the room. During the summer their patio dining area is open, which is lovely. Grab your friends and go.
