Bottomless? Mimosas. Food was average tasting, but cold. We asked them to go light on the OJ in the "bottomless mimosas' and they said they would have to charge an extra $4.00 for this feature. OK, fine, but as it turned out they still served us mostly OJ..probably 60-40. So then we offered to buy champagne, and they were out of almost everything on the menu. Very disappointing brunch. Next time I'll just go to Denny's.  View Less View More

Great place for a private party. We hosted a private party here a few months ago and were very pleased with how things went. The food was fantastic and unique, the waitstaff and bartenders were so friendly, and the overall experience was wonderful. I haven't eaten there for a regular meal but I can easily say that I will be using this venue for some of my corporate events in the future!  View Less View More

Great food for a fair price. This place offers some of the best food I've had in Denver, and all for a great price! Too bad they aren't open very often.

We need a quality fine dining restaurant at the Hamilton! Palettes is not up to the challenge!. The Denver Art Museum needs to boot this restaurant out! It?s over-priced, the menu is tired, and the food is just not worth stopping in for. It?s sad because I love my trips to the DAM. It would be a dream to have a three to four star restaurant in the museum with food in all price categories, since all people who visit don?t want lobster. Not that you can get that at Pallets. The menu is pretentious and doesn?t live up to the foo-foo descriptions. I?ve ordered everything from the steak to the salmon and have never been impressed. This place takes all the fun out of dining out.. I would love to have a quality restaurant in the Civic Center area. Art and food go hand in hand, but don?t waste your time at Pallets.

There is nothing worse than expensive bad food.  View Less

Boring ambiance, fat laden meals did I mention it?s boring?. The menu is a poor attempt to provide creative cuisine for people visiting the Denver Art Museum. Kevin Taylor must assume people who enjoy the arts also enjoy unnecessarily oily, creamy, overly buttered and heavily salted food. If you want to have a great time dining out and care about your body, eat someplace else. Within blocks of the DAM are some better choices. You don?t have to eat insanely high caloric food when you dine out! I?ve visited three times for dinner and once for lunch. At lunch they were busy and the waiter was rude. I won?t be back. It?s over priced and just plain bad food!!! Pork Schnitzel was oily and putrid, Salmon tasted off, the Portobello dishes, which I had hoped, would redeem the place tasted like they had been soaked in Kraft Italian dressing. Yuck!

I don?t understand the Kevin Taylor mystique? Maybe the king has no cloths? And perhaps the reason I don?t understand Kevin Taylor is because he?s a ?has been? from the 90?s. I?ve eaten at Prima and this review could basically apply there too, except the ambiance feels better. It?s more luxe, but given the choice and THERE ARE tons of choices in Denver, I will eat someplace else unless my client insists. .

If you must go, just have coffee and desert of perhaps a glass of bubbly and dessert. It would be much more fun to ponder the ?Clifford Still? experience over desert and bubbly, rather than sickening your stomach with the main courses or even appetizers. BURP.  View Less
