Come Get Gouged!. This place was overpriced! With a coupon a family of 3 got in for just under 50 bucks, so not bad. It's everthing else after that. I wonder if they sell beer? 7 bucks for a glass! Am I on a cruise ship? Water almost 4 bucks. 12 dollars to rent a locker to put your stuff in to go to the pool. $7.00 for an inner tube. Some side amusements cost extra for the kids to do like climb across a rope ladder for 2 bucks. And then you can upgrade your admission for 14.99 to a VIP and $15.00 to park. The ferris wheel was only filled to half capacity each time with a full line of people waiting (That's only 10 of the 20 cages filled each time) I should have gone to Pirates Cove instead.

Shame on you Leaders of Elitches. Elitche leaders:

How could you let a Denver Icon fall into such disrepair.

What would the original family say if they saw it today? 120 year heritage and this is what you've added on your watch:

Burnt out light bulbs in the all the rides... Gaffitti throughout the park... Rides not even lit up at night (Trying to save money?) Rides that break down regularly. Rides that are not working and abandoned with fences built around them (so no one will see?)... Vendors that look at you with a frown and an indifferent attitude and ask "who's next." wow... what a disappointment. Are we milking the business and don't care about quality, Elitches leaders?

How about making the Park world class again

There is so much potential for increase revenue and profits if you invest a little to fix this run down park. Don't you (leaders of Elitches) have a responsibility to the 120 year heritage and reputation of this Denver institution?

Shame, shame!

Terribly expensive and somewhat disappointing. I hate to trash a place I thought was magical when I was a lot younger, but now that I'm a parent I'm saddened about what Elitch Gardens has become. With ticket prices over $40 a head, $12 for parking and food prices that almost had me leaving the park to find a restaurant, my husband and I decided we could have done so much more with the nearly $200 we ended up spending between tickets, food, parking and a wagon we rented. We could have spent the day in Estes Park and spent the night in a very nice hotel for the price we paid at what's turned into a second-rate amusement park.

pretty good for a family. my family and i had a pretty good time there. i would recommend that you get there about half an hour earlier than opening time. Becuase then you get a really good parking spot. a really good parking spot means that you can easily go out and have lunch becasue the food there isnt very good. i had a chicken tender basket for 8.25 plus tax, way overpriced. the service is absolutley terrible. it takes about ten minutes after you order your food to get your food. and about ten minutes after you get on the ride to actually start the ride. but dont get me wrong i do like the rides. the rides were very fun for me and the games where you win prizes were low priced and and most of them you win a prize everytime. overall i would recomend going there but dont expect great service and an absolutely awesome time.

terrible experience!. Elitch Gardens is one of the worst places I've ever been to! This park is way too expensive! In addition, the people are very rude! The lines were too long, and the weather was too hot! I will never bring my family back to Denver, Colorado or Elitch Gardens.

Part of Denver for generations, this local favorite is full of high-tech excitement.. In Short
This Denver theme park has been through many changes: Relocation, technological revamping and acquisition by a major amusement park corporation. But whatever the park may have lost in quaint charm, it has made up for in high-tech excitement. Looping roller coasters frame the city, and various towers can be seen for miles. There are more than 40 features on the grounds and they run the gamut from heart-stopping fright rides to relatively tame amusements.

A jaw dropping experience. When going to six flags, i recomened bringing your own water (unless your perpared to become an empty walet). I went on a tuesday. As soon as i arrived i was greated by a friendy array of employes. I then continuted throught the park to feast my eyes upon many one of a kind rides. The lines were very short. I enjoyed it very much.

Expensive, But Must Experience. Very Expensive, especially the food. Highway robbery is the only way to say it. Simply ridiculous. If you haven't been there, you must go at least once. It is worthy of at least one visit, but after that its just average. Lines during the week aren't too bad. I suggest doing the rides in the morning (shorter lines) and the water park in the afternoon. BRING YOUR OWN WATER! At $3 a pop, water is too expensive to keep hydrated. Rides are pretty exciting. It is better than Lakeside (other theme park in Denver) but doesn't quite have the same family bonding theme. Seems to be very fast paced. Hard to relax with all the noise.

This place should not be called Elitch Gardens. This place should not be called Elitch Gardens. The old Elitch site was much more relaxing and was actually true to its name of containing gardens. It was a veritable landscape of flowers and trees. This new place bearing its name, however, could hardly be called anything but a concrete jungle. The lines are too long, it is hot, everything is EXTREMELY over priced (8 bucks for a cup of pepsi?), and it doesn't share the community that the old Elitch Gardens offered. With the old Elitches, families could bring picnics, you could catch a play at the historic Elitch playhouse, parking didn't cost anything (at the new Six Flags Elitch Gardens you pay for parking in addition to nearly 40 dollar admission fee), and it wasn't located in the heart of a smelly, loud industrial area.

Average. Average pretty much sums up the Six Flags of Denver. I pretty much refuse to call it Elich Gardens any more because that name no longer fits what its become. It used to be in a great location, lots of trees, plants, great layout. Very relaxing and FUN place to go and at not a bad price. Ever since the move the atmosphere of the now Six Flags has changed to barren, HOT, and extremely overpriced. It may have a few new rides but its not worth it to me to lose everything about it that made it good for a couple of new coasters.
