I have worked across the street from Kasel inc. for ten years. Kasel inc. is a family owned preservative free chemical free and artificial ingredient free dog treat company. They are a family owned business that has supported many Colorado family's for years and years and years. I have seen there work ethic at Kasel , clean hard workers with smiles on there faces working in clean environment. Today is are dogs birthday she is twelve and she told me that she would like a verity pack this year from Kasel; and she thanks all the workers for all there hard work.

Great Organic Dog Treats. My local pet store MUTZ started carrying Kasel Products and my dog loves them. I'm glad he's eating natural/organic treats, and he couldn't be happier. I bought a bag of pig ears and they are full ears. Great Product, happy to buy from a Colorado company.

Quality of Treats and Treatment of Workers- HORRIBLY POOR!!. At Kasel Industries in downtown Denver, workers render pig ears into dog treats. The approximately 50 immigrant workers at the plant are paid $5.50/hour, are forced to work overtime, and are not provided with protective clothing. Because the pig ears arrive at the plant frozen, workers must often walk around ankle deep in melted pig fat and pig'sblood. Exit doors are locked once workers arrive at the plant, and workers are not provided with toilet paper or soap. In late February, workers began organizing with UFCW Local 7, and came to Colorado JwJ for support. Since the organizing drive began, 12 workers instrumental to the campaign to form a union have been fired. Workers have filed for a union election date with the NLRB.

On March 23rd, Colorado JwJ mobilized for a 150-person rally outside Kasel Industries in downtown Denver to protest the sweatshop-like conditions that workers there must endure. Students at Denver University circulated a petition on campus, gathering 56 signatures in just one day. Raymond Kasel, CEO of Kasel Industries, has threatened to suee the students for slander and loss of business. Preparations are underway to organize a delegation of Kasel workers, DU students, and commmunity leaders to confront Kasel?s intimidation of workers and students.

Pig Ears should read Pig Ear Pieces. I don't know about anybody else....but...

I've been buying the big bag of Pig Ears from this company through my pet store. It says 25 Pig Ears on the front of the package. If there are 25 Pig Ears in this package.....most of them are Pig Ear PIECES. For the prices they are charging for this "big Bag of Pig Ears", you'd think they'd make sure this is a big bag of Pig Ears.

I have four giant breed dogs - they like their Pig Ears. Does anyone know where I can get some actual Pig Ears for my dogs? they don't like these pieces!!!

feel free to contact me if you disagree with this message, but first go and spend the $24 on a bag of 25 Pig Ears and see if you aren't disappointed!! Pig ear pieces is more like it.
