Best green chile and chile rellenos in Denver. I discovered La Fiesta while attending CU-Denver in 1994 and having been coming back ever since. Hands down the best green chili and chili rellenos I have ever had and I have eaten at a lot of Mexican restaurants in my life all over the world. The service is excellent but I come back for the food, it is awesome. There is a reason La Fiesta is always busy with locals who are "in the know", they serve great food. Don't be swayed by some of the other reviews who attempt to slag off La Fiesta's reputation (obviously a competitor), any restaurant that has been in business for more than 46 years has to be doing something right. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the decor is simple; Broncos and Budweiser posters on the walls, vinyl tablecloths, low lighting, it hasn't changed in years, one of things I love about the place. If you want to be entertained while you eat, go somewhere else, if you want great Mexican food that locals swear by, go to La Fiesta.

La Fiesta wants your money. Who gave this place 5 stars? If you like commodity cheese and 6 $ bud lights this is the place for you. No wonder they're not open after 2 they took it all in at lunch. La Fiesta is awful, dreadful, repulsive, revolting, detestable, foul and sickening. Above all it is expensive! I thought government cheese was free. The product is not worthy of the proud price. Seriously corn tortillas and fried rellenos filled with commodity cheese, store bought chips and salsa, green gravy they call chile and Very expensive beer. The one redeeming quality, the very cool Bud Dry poster above our table.

Do not miss this place!!!. I read the reviews on here and was shocked that there are people out there who are not fans of this historic Denver treasure! The Fiesta platter is my favorite, it has a relleno, a cheese enchilada, and a smothered bean burrito. The flavors are off the chart. I eat Mexican food several times a week and try every new place in town that comes around. We eat at all the little gems on Colfax, Federal, and all around, and I have to say La Fiesta is my hands-down, no-contest favorite!

good mexican food at an awsome price. If you are looking for good mexican food at an awsome price there is no better place in Denver. It is not the best food ever but it is good. Service is fast and friendly. Be prepaired they only take cash. From what i have heard they only use Velveeta cheese so some people must not know what there eating. kind of like a blind taste test that proves people have no idea what they are talking about.

All Time Favorite Mexican Food!!. La Fiesta has spoiled me! All other mexican resturaunts now pale in comparison to la fiesta. They have the BEST green chile Around! I have this on high authority from someone who eats green chile 3 meals a day, when he can. Their Queso is delicious! And the enchiladas are filling and wonderful. The "Pollo A La Fiesta" is pretty awesome. And the "pogo burger" is a yummy and different take on burgers and fries. We go to this place for lunch at least once a week, and dinner as many friday nights as possible when we're in town. Go prepared to be completely filled up and deliciously surprised. The yummiest Mexican food anywhere!
