In Short
This warehouse restaurant features rows of tables on a tiled floor, Mexican beer advertisements and posters of women adorning the windowless walls. Its a relaxing place that draws a mix of business people and blue-collar workers. The food is as basic as the decor, with cheesy enchiladas and burritos stuffed with chicken or beef--sometimes even topped with eggs. There's also sopapillas smothered in red and green chili and crispy-on-the-outside chilis rellenos oozing with cheese.

I read the reviews on here and was shocked that there are people out there who are not fans of this historic Denver treasure! The Fiesta platter is my favorite, it has a relleno, a cheese enchilada, and a smothered bean burrito. The flavors are off the chart. I eat Mexican food several times a week and try every new place in town that comes around. We eat at all the little gems on Colfax, Federal, and all around, and I have to say La Fiesta is my hands-down, no-contest favorite!

If you are looking for good mexican food at an awsome price there is no better place in Denver. It is not the best food ever but it is good. Service is fast and friendly. Be prepaired they only take cash. From what i have heard they only use Velveeta cheese so some people must not know what there eating. kind of like a blind taste test that proves people have no idea what they are talking about.

La Fiesta is located near the fringes of downtown. It has long been a favorite of the downtown office crowd. The place seems to be family run and the service is good. The outstanding dish is the relleno plate which consists of two delicious rellenos in the best green chile sauce I have encountered in this city. La Fiesta is not open on Sundays.
