In Short
Behind the unpretentious exterior of this serene little Japanese restaurant cheek-by-jowl to Coors Field is some of the city's freshest, most flavorful Japanese food. Fresh egg rolls are left open on one side to show their ground pork and vegetables. The soft-shell crab is flavorful and crunchy and comes with a sweet/spicy dipping sauce. The tempura's clouds of batter open to reveal perfectly cooked vegetables. The sushi is fresh and beautifully presented.

One word. Sewage! This place actually smells like Poo and I'm not talking about the Poo Poo platter. Also, the fish is well......fishy! Good sushi isn't fishy. Mori is cheap. This place is trashed. Seats have duct tape holding them together, pretty sure they rip people off with the Saki and pour the cheap stuff in different bottles. so many better places...I can't imagine why anyone would like this place.

I am so sad to learn that the Mori is no more. It has been my favorite Japanese restaurant for many, many years. I have brought so many friends and family to the Mori and have never been disappointed. I would like to hear what happened and hear something from the owner. Are we ever going to have another Mori in the future? I think that we locals and loyal patrons do deserve some sort of reason we have such an empty loss.

Tried to go early August and it appeared vacant and shut down. Will miss this place, it's been there forever.
