In Short – Herb's is one of the only authentic dive bars in the trendy LoDo entertainment district, and what keeps people coming back is cheap drinks and a diverse clientele. The crowd ranges from blue collars to beautiful people fed up with lines at trendier spots. The resulting culture clash provides for some intriguing (and a bit alluring) friction. There's also local music: Some of Denver's better jazz and blues performers play most nights of the week.

Awesome Music, Drinks, Patio - All around great Atmosphere

by bbramlitt at Citysearch

I love this place, everytime I go the people are fun, the bands are great, and the bartenders are having a great time. Last time I went the food on the back patio was awesome, BBQ anything and everything with a great chef Pat, who knows how to keep you going after you've maybe had too many.

I recommend this place to everyone who is down for a fun, adventurous evening.

  • Pros: Food, drinks, band
  • Cons: they dont stay open 24 hours

  • Pros: laid back, cheap parking meters, great music
  • Cons: one block from Coors
