Editorial Review for Garbarini – by Wendy Wall

In Short
For more than 20 years, this Cherry Creek boutique has been delighting women with festive attire, fanciful footwear and fun accessories. The petite shop makes the best of its small, colorful space with sophisticated soles, flouncy dresses, low-rise jeans, sexy tops, beaded bags and 100 different lines of jewelry throughout. Standards include Donald J. Pliner shoes and denim; the rest depends on the style of the times.

Great store....Very nice L.A., NYC brands....service staff is helpful, but sometimes appears girly ditzy. Although the store has a wide variety of lines and items the store is a bit messy....It looks like a woman's closet where she has just tried on about 10 different outfits before she went out on a date.... That could mean that there are always busy....which is great....but it could also mean the staff could stop talking to eachother and earn their pay....A woman who knows retail and fashion would NOT be intimidated the store. A woman who doesn't might have a challenge...However if you don't know fashion you wouldn't be shopping here...Great store, great merchandise...proves that Denver is a bit more than a cow town. Oh yes, you gotta like black <smile>

Pros: lots of lines that you would see on each coast

Cons: always kind of messy, needs better merchandising

I liked the clothes and shoes that Gabarini had to offer so I decided to pay the higher prices. I bought a pair of $200 shoes and a $150 shirt. I had to ask 3 times to try on the clothes and shoes which was annoying because it wasn't busy at all. After deciding to ignore the unfriendliness of the sales people I purchased my items. After paying I asked if I could use the restroom I was rudely told that the library down the block had one I could use...I guess $350 isn't enough to be able to use the bathroom. I liked what I purchased but will never go back because of the unfriendly rude sales people.
