This is the first time I have ever taken time to write a negative review but I felt strongly that this experience should be noted. I was extremely disappointed in the customer service provided at Dari's. On recommendation of the shop where I bought my wedding dress I took it to Dari's to be altered. At the first fitting the dress was pinned and I was given a date 10 days from when I dropped the dress to return. I was scheduled to have two separate fittings - one after waist line and shoulder straps were adjusted and then a second for a hem. I returned the day of my first fitting and the dress had not been touched. They were extremely apologetic and embarassed and asked me to return the following week. As I was four weeks out from my wedding at this time I indicated this was not an issue. I appreciated their apology and that things happen so re-scheduled for the end following week as I would be out of town until then. I returned the following week and was handed my dress to try on. The dress had not been touched. There was barely a reaction from Dari who actually handed me the dress to try on with the pins in it. When I noted that it had again not been altered all he said was I am sorry. Had this been something other than my wedding dress this would probably not have been an issue for me however, he did not offer to have it done immediately or guarantee that they could make the adjustments at all. He did not do anything except apologize so I indicated I would take it elsewhere. I am now two and a half weeks from my wedding and am working to find a tailor / seamstress who can quickly make the alterations.
