Speedy service, big portions, and tasty food..
I'd been curious to try Grand Chinese restaurant for a while, and when I finally did, at about 8 p.m. on a Monday night, there were only two other people (but at one table) seated in the restaurant. The atmosphere is pretty basic, although slightly more classy than I had expected. They also have some uniquely shaped booths, which I enjoyed.
I ordered Mongolian Beef, and my date, the Sesame Chicken. They were both priced at $8 - $9, and came with white or fried rice. The food came extremely fast, and the Mongolian Beef was exceptional! Tons of beef mixed with scallions and a lot of onions. It had a prefect kick of spiciness to it, but it wasn't TOO hot. The Sesame Chicken was good, however I get Sesame Chicken at almost every Chinese restaurant I go to, and I've had better. The potions are big (as with most Chinese restaurants) and I'm eating the delicious leftovers today.
All in all, I was highly impressed by how quick the service was. The prices are fair and pretty average based on how much food you get for your money. I would recommend this restaurant, and will likely be back to it soon.
Super Grand.
I really liked the food here. They have great prices. The dishes are individual - not the "same sauce on everything" concept.
Their dining room is lacking in design and taste, but their food is not.
Good deal. Typical average Chinese Food, but the service was super speedy and it came very hot, and the Orange Beef has good Orange flavor, unlike some competitors.
