Please, Please, Please do not buy appliances from Appliance Factory Outlet. They are a ripp off and will do anything they can to scam you out of extra money. They sold me a used fridge that stopped working within three weeks of me purchasing it, I notified them they then offered me a brand new fridge for only $600 more. I thought that was great because then I would not have to worry about it not working and once agai losing all the food in my fridge. Well yesterday my "new" fridge broke and turned out was not new and for that fact frigidare could not cover it under the warranty I so faultly relied upon. When I contacted the store they did not believe me and I am currently fighting with them to get a new fridge while my food is slowly spoiling.
Poor products, even worse customer
They sold me a fridge which had a broken valve connector AND broken AC fan that would turn off for hours causing the ice in the reservoir to turn liquid, then the AC fan would come back on and re-freeze the water causing the reservoir to crack and leak all over my wood floors. They sent a great maintenance guy out TWICE to fix the issue, and finally he said: "it's too expensive to fix, I'll tell them and hopefully you'll get a credit on a new fridge". He was right, I got a credit on a new fridge, but the damage to my floors was where EVERYTHING has failed.
They initially said they would pay for the damage, all I needed to do was get a quote. So I got a quote and they said "we'll pay 75% of this quote"... there was no reason, they just didn't want to pay the full quote. I agreed because my contractor was willing to do the work at a discount for future work with other projects. They stated they would send the check in 3 weeks. Well, the rookie appliance factory outlet lawyer, Dennis Kaw, got involved and stopped the payment. He then told everyone at appliance factory not to talk about this issue with me because it's a "legal matter". He also stopped talking to me.
So now I have filed a complaint with the BBB, along with 143 other people with similar issues. I have no idea how they have an A+ rating, but that shows you how relevant the BBB is.
Many, many others have shared this experience in damage caused by their faulty appliances. My appliance was so faulty, the maintenance guy just shook his head in disbelief that something like this could even be sold to a customer. They clearly do not do proper inspections on their products, then do not hold any responsibility for the product's damage when placed in someone's home.
Do NOT buy from this company, it's not worth the small amount of savings. There are LOTS of appliance stores where you can buy cheap, new appliances with full warranties and delivery, such as: http://overstock.com, http://ajmaddison.com, http://us-appliance.com, etc. Just do your research on google. Avoid this company.
They do not need to remain in business with the way they treat their customers.
Bought stove and refrigerator earlier this year. I wasn't happy about buying appliances but the salesman (Brent Aldred) was really friendly and helpful. Delivery went just as planned. No issues! The appliances were exactly what we expected! When our washer broke, we went back. Brent was there to help make it easy and pleasant. Would definitely recommend and will be going back!
BUYER BEWARE AND STEER CLEAR OF CAMERON, THE MANAGER
If it wasn't for Cameron, the manager at this location, this review might have been better. We purchased an I Comfort mattress as well as 2 LG appliances from here. The mattresses were delivered without a hitch. However, the fiasco with the washer and dryer was a completely different story. We purchased these appliances 2 wks ago and were given a delivery date of 11/11/11. The manager told us to call her 1.5 wks after the purchase to remind her to check on the status. One might ask, why does a customer need to remind the manager to do her job? But, we called her on 11/9/11 to confirm the delivery. She assured us that the appliances had come in and would be delivered on 11/11/11. We received a phone call on 11/10/11 in which the driver stated that he did not have our appliances to deliver. We called Cameron with this news and her response was "You need to figure it out". When we told her that we felt that this was her responsibility as the manager she begrudgingly called us back 15 mins later to tell us that not only would our appliances not be delivered on 11/11/11, but they were back-ordered until at least the middle of December.
When asked why she told us that they were in and would be delivered on time, she said she had no way of knowing they were back-ordered. None of which made any sense. She obviously did not check on this prior to telling us they would be delivered on time. Upon learning that we would not receive our appliances until the middle of December at the earliest, we requested a refund. Cameron answered this with "you have to come back to the store to get a refund". This is obviously not true and when questioned why a refund could not be given over the phone as we never received our appliances, she stated "you just have to come back to the store" and hung up the phone.
We have never been treated with this poor level of customer service. Not only has the manager been dishonest and incompetent, but she has made no effort to rectify the situation and return our money as requested. We have been forced to take this to her district manager and are awaiting a resolution and refund.
The other salespeople at this location seemed to be much more knowledgable and helpful than Cameron. It's too bad they have such a poor manager. Her complete lack of customer service and responsibility will impact everyone at this business.

Customer issues are taken very seriously and we will be addressing this issue with the Store Manager. We would like to compesnate you for your poor experience and invite you to shop with Appliance Factory Outlet in the future.
AMAZING !!!. I am new to the area and one of my coworkers recomended that I should stop into Appliance Factory Outlet to furnish my new home. It was amazing. I had never purchased, shopped or even looked at an appliance before. Brad was unbelievable. He walked me through every step of my decision. I knew that I wanted Stainless steel but nothing else. Brad ended up getting me into a full kitchen for less than I had expected to pay. I saved enough to buy a new bed that he had shown me. This truely is a one stop shop. Everything was installed yesterday and it looks great. Thanks Brad and installers. One word of advise to anyone reading this is to go and see what he can do for you. Thanks, Jeremy
Do Not Trust Appliance Factory Outlet. I will never buy anything from Appliance Factory Outlet on Colorado Blvd (or any other AFO stores) ever again!!! The salesman told us the washer and dryer we bought were in a warehouse in town and about all the ways thy are able to sell at such a cheap price, all with too many contradictions. It has been 3 weeks and we still have not been able to do a load of laundry for our family of 6. After several delays and rescheduled deliveries, it took two weeks for us to receive the washer and dryer. We started the first load of laundry and the washer leaked water everywhere!!!! They referred us to the warranty company and AFO will not help us. Now that the washer has been opened 3 times, is still not fixed, I am struggling to have anyone, the store or the warranty company, bring a new working washing machine. I bought a new washing machine, and a new washing machine should not have to be opened up for fixing 3 times before it even cleans a single load. When I went back to the store, 2 of the 3 salesmen walked away once they finally figured out that I was not there to buy something and the 1 they left there to deal with me was rude and told me to deal with the warranty company... BEWARE of Appliance Factory outlet!!!! The salesmen are dishonest and flat out liars. They sell broken appliances. HORRIBLE!!!!
BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!I don't know about their new sales department, but their used appliance is in the business of assuring ONE TIME CUSTOMERS, since they have no interest in providing customer support. Their warranty is brilliant, it protects them from having to do anything when a customer buys, say, a dishwasher that did not work. The warranty does state it will not cover the cost of uninstalling, returning, picking up and reinstalling another dishwasher. (that may or may not work)So, the customer gets to pay even more in money and time dealing with a product that was broken from the start. Oh, and no cash refunds, so don't think you have an out there. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
