Carl and Sue Dire opened this neighborhood restaurant in 1934. Today, it's run by their grandchildren, who long ago pledged to leave things exactly as they have been for the better part of a century. The reward: seven decades of regulars. The menu has everything from meat loaf to spaghetti and meatballs. Crispy-crust pizza comes with tangy sauce and fresh toppings, and the sufficiently greasy burgers taste even better when washed down with a beer.

Pizza, pizza, pizza. Talk about good pizza. Bonnie Brae Tavern rocks the house. You can't get no better than Bonnie Brae. I highly recommend Bonnie Brea.

I enjoyed the pizza here, we got the white and Mexican pizza. I enjoyed the white better personally. The service was overall good and the atmosphere was nice. A tad over priced in my opinion.

I love going to Bonnie Brea Tavern for lunch, it's like stepping back in time! Food is classic. The menu has everything from meat loaf to spaghetti and meatballs to crispy-crust pizza comes with tangy sauce and fresh toppings, and the sufficiently greasy burgers taste even better when washed down with a beer. It has been a neighborhood, family run restaurant since 1934.
