I am a regular customer of Rocky Mountain Coin and find the previous review of the customer claiming horrendous service unbelievable. Sounds to me like a jealous competitor. I know the owner (Klaus Degler) personally and have always found him and his employees being respectful, honest and knowledgeable professionals. The claim of the disgruntled customer that they are not members of the BBB is totally false. Not only are they members, but have received the BBB Gold Star Award. The company is on Tom Martinos recommended list and just recently received by independent survey The FIVE STAR: 2009 Best in client satisfaction award. (As seen in 5280 & Colorado Biz magazines Sept. issues) And that's THE TRUTH. Highly recommend!

• Pros: Great selection, competitive prices & great customer service
• Cons: Parking sometimes diffcult

HORRENDOUS place for gold exchange/ coins, etc.

I was FLOORED by the lack of quality in the workers, management, and the overall sales approach. I had every intention to spend & walked away knowing I'll NEVER put a dollar there. They did NOT approach me with a willingness to help, the manager went so far as to yell and curse when I asked her to verify an item that was being held. When I asked her to contact the employee who put the item on hold, she refused & told me she didn't want my business. Be warned: They are NOT registered with Better Business. Anyone who wants to purchase gold, I would recommend finding a QUALITY dealership that respects the customer and is registered with Better Business.

• Cons: Terrible workers with no customer service, ethics of comapny in question

A good experience

I recently moved to the Denver area and was very pleased with the clean and professional local shop. Although I am not a high end coin buyer, I was still treated with courtesy and the salesperson took time to answer my questions. Compared to some of the other shops that I visited, I felt very comfortable and

not being rushed. The selection of coins was very good and fairly priced.

• Pros: Clean and professional with a good variety at fair prices.
• Cons: Metered Parking in front of store ( I got a ticket for overtime parking)
