Rushton Tree Svc

Excellent Tree Trimming. We hired Rushton Tree Service to do a full trim on a very large silver maple (almost 100 years old). They did a beautiful job at removing all of the deadwood as well as trimming the branches back. We were worried with all of the dead wood removed, that the tree would look awful, but it looks fantastic. As far as pricing, Rushton was very reasonable compared to our other quotes. Shocking Customer Service. We contacted this company since they had done work for a family member in the past. The owner showed up 30 minutes early and was irritated that I did not immediately answer the door. A few days later I called the office to ask a follow up question. The lady that answered the phone did not know the answer to my question and was very short with me about following up with my inquiry. We decided to use this company for our tree care needs. When I called back to authorize the work to be done the same lady told me that she would call me in a week to schedule the work. At the end of the following week I called back since I had not heard from her. I was not upset, I just needed to know when they were coming because I was going to take some time off from work. The lady became quite agitated and said that she did not remember telling me she would call me but since I was so pushy, she would schedule my service. After she asked what day I was "demanding" to have them come, she covered up the receiver and I could hear her talking about me to a coworker. At that point I told her that I was very uncomfortable with how rude she was being. She raised her voice and told me that she's not trying to be rude but she deals with clients everyday and how is she supposed to remember what she tells each of them. When I told her that I wouldn't be scheduling service with Rushton because of how rude she was to me, she hung up on me. I was absolutely floored by the encounter with her over the phone. I have never been treated so inappropriately by a company providing a service. After the phone call I found other online reviews detailing similar problems with this same employee. Our dealings with subsequent tree service companies has been delightful and we look forward to giving our money to someone who treats people with kindness and respect.…

Rushton's Tree Service-- Worth a call. We had three companies come and give us bids for some tree removal, and Rushton was by far the cheapest. We also had two friends recommend them to us. My only complaint is that they could have communicated with us more clearly about when they would arrive and that the clean-up/stump grinding crew is separate from the tree cutting crew. Other than that, I would recommend them to anyone. They are booked out just as far as any other company in the summer months, but they managed to squeeze us in earlier than originally estimated. Good deal for the price.…

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The gal that gets mentioned in the older reviews... must still work there. HORRIBLE customer service. Rude to say the least! Will not even consider using them if they beat the competition by 50%...and we live in the neighborhood.…
