Editorial Review for The Border Restaurant – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
The college scene here features pool tables, golf and dart machines, TVs groups of guys and nubile gals in tight pants. It's a young crowd doing the college thing in a comfortable dive. As expected, the place starts to fill up around 9:30 or 10pm. Lights drop and it's standing-room only at the bar. Food is greasy and inexpensive, including fries, cheeseburgers, Mexican food, and breakfast burritos.

I used to fequent the Border a few years ago and liked it. Now I love it! The remodel looks fantastic. The dance floor and stage are great additions. I just saw the band 'Single Track' there and loved it. You can get right up close to the bands. On Tues and Thurs you can dance on the stage (or dance floor) to dj's. Great place, alway fun and cheap.
Pros: Bands, Dancing, Cheap
Cons: Happy Hour ends at 8

Since the staff has remodeled the Border it is great! There isn't as many underage punks in there anymore so it is a lot easier to relax in here. I come in about once a week sometimes more, and I always have fun, the food is good and the drinks are great!
