RUDE. We have never been treated more rudely by a restaurant. We would never go there again. My husband was injured as a fireman in Los Angeles. His injury resulted in him being extremely allergic to many foods. He must always take is own food with him to avoid devastating reaction. He still enjoys taking his family and friends out to eat. ALL restaurants we go to are very understanding and allow him to eat with us. After asking permission at Parisi to do this we were rudely interrupted in the middle of our meal and he was told to put his food away. Later when he called the owner he was treated even more rudely. tennyson mainstay. Great wood baked pizza...really good! Take home a loaf of their fresh baked pugliese bread! for the prices I would like some table service instead of taking a number to the table. Over all a good experience. View Less … View More
Service and food have gone downhill!. Parisi used to be a Highlands staple! I went for the first time in months last night, and the staff was unfriendly and rude. They acted like we were breaking the law for wanting a table for six people, and continued to be rude to us throughout dinner. The food used to be amazing, and last night left many things to be desired. The risotto was unflavorful, the pizza soggy, and the gnocci was obviously from a package and not the homemade it used to be. Parisi, you have gone downhill. Very dissapointed and will not be going back! View Less … View More
Gluten Free Pizza is HORRIBLE.
I loved this place when it was small and when I was able to eat regular food. Now I am gluten free because of Celiac Disease.
I am thrilled that a lot of restaurants are trying to include gluten free items on their menus, however, most of them don't do it well.
The gluten free pizza here at Parisi is by far the worst I have had anywhere! Totinos $3 pizza is better. It appeared it was a frozen pizza that was then topped with a few pieces of mushroom. I sent it back once because it wasn't even warm when they served it. Plus this place is overcrowded, you are packed in like sardines, and the ordering process is just stupid. Wish it could go back to the original great place it was.
If you want truly exceptional GLUTEN FREE ITALIAN FOOD,
go to ABRUSCI'S Italian Restaurant 3244 Youngfield Wheat Ridge. Real GF bread! Pizza like reg pizza, Sandwiches are great too! Next time I will go the extra distance.
