I ordered a birthday cake for my son's 5th birthday from this place and was VERY disappointed. The cake was dry, the decoration was nothing more than an edible image which I probably could have done myself... we didn't enjoy it at all. For the price I paid, I expected much more, and they made a giant profit for very little effort. Perhaps Cakes by Karen specializes in wedding cakes and not birthday cakes. Ah well, live and learn.

I have had several cakes made here and they all have been beautiful and very tasty too. Very professional service. Would highly recommend. Prices are a bit high, but worth it for very special occasions.

I got my wedding cake for Cakes by Karen. Their selection and quality are outstanding! They have a great reputation and deserve it. I would highly recommend them for wedding, special occasions, and adult birthdays.
