This structure-for-all-seasons at the base of I-70 hosts 250 events each year, serving up an eclectic sampling of athletics and entertainment. Seating differs for certain types of events. Rock concerts draw up to 11,500 music lovers; basketball gets 9,300 hoop nuts; and hockey accommodates 8,110 puckheads. While events like the National Western Stock Show shine on the large floor, a basketball game loses some intimacy with the crowd, as seats are far removed from the action.
