Pizza as tasty as the decor is danky. Never judge a pizza place by its storefront. For proof, go visit Famous Pizza, but keep your eyes out because the 'F' in the sign I've never seen illuminated. Pizza I rate as excellent, and the staff is nice and certainly charismatic. If you are a denizen of Colfax, please patronize this place, give the folks a good tip, and perhaps inquire when the remodel job is scheduled. PS parking is ample behind the place off street.

Best Pizza. Famous Pizza on Colfax has the best pizza in Denver. The delivery is fast and the pizza's are huge and inexpensive. The side salads and garlic bread are also very good, especially for a pizza place. Famous pizza is located on the Colfax bar route and is open late for late night snacks.

Best Pizza in Town!!. This place has kick-ass pizza, along with great hot sub sandwiches, for a reasonable price....but if the pizza guy is in a bad mood, watch out.....it's like a Seinfeld episode with the 'soup guy'..... 'No Pizza for You!!" (but it is good pizza)

Best New York Pizza in Denver. excellent new york style pizza. if you're from the northeast you'll have an immediate flashback to pretty much any good new york style pizzeria. the service was prompt and friendly and the slices are huge and very resonably priced. what a great contrast to all the overpriced pizza establishments in denver!

Delicious - but greasy - pizza.. Famous is a well-known pizza place on Colfax. I've only gotten individual slices there, but they have a good deal on 2 huge slices and a drink for about $4. You pick from the already made slices that are out, and then they're heated up for you. It makes service extremely fast, and the pizza usually still tastes pretty fresh, even though it's not necessarily made fresh right then. All the pizza is pretty greasy, and has kind of a floppy-crust, New York taste to it. The pepperonis are very good, as they're a little spicy, and I highly recommend it over plain cheese. There is always plenty of seating, they usually have whatever popular sports game is on at the time on the TV, and the atmosphere is very casual.
