When i lived in Denver 10 years ago this was our little hidden steak house. Was always busy for dinner. It's like a fast food steak house. Dinner for 10 bucks... plenty of food... ENJOY

I am not sure if the Columbine is a steakhouse that happens to serve liquor, or a bar that happens to sling steaks. During peak dinner time the line is usually at... or out the door. This might be a turn off for some, but the line moves fast enough that it is not really as bad as it might look going in. I am not sure how they do it, but it seems the food is served at the same pace as the people eating it. Almost without fail as one persons food is ready someone else is just leaving, and though it seemed impossible a moment ago, a table appears, and is ready as you get to it. This is a no frills meal, you can pick your pice of beef while you are waiting in line, and as you move through cafeteria style, your steak is almost ready when you get to the front of the line and choose your salad dressing. Texas toast tops off the meal. Not a romantic setting for sure, but one of the better steak deals in town, and still worth the occasional wait to get in. Parking can be tight.... but a little walk after the meal might do more good than harm. I would reccomend this as a solid meal, not a first date selection

This place is not fancy, but has great food and quick service. Get a huge steak, potato, and salad for under $10!
