It was like coming home! I've been going to Senor Pepe's since 1979. The food and service has been consistently excellent all these years. I'm an adventurous diner. I eat out quite a bit. Last week I had a bad experience at another Mexican restaurant. Friday night, my wife and I went to Pepe;s and it was like coming home again! The staff are always friendly and make each customer feel like they're a VIP. The Margaritas, (no matter which one you choose) are outstanding. They use quality ingredients in the food, and it comes to the table, piping hot! There has never been a high turn over in the wait staff over the years, that speaks volumes in and of itself. It's obvious that Ramon care's about his customers, his staff and has a lot of pride in his place. People who want to be successful in this business should see what this man has done so well, for so many years!

Margarita's and Sopaipilla's BEST-reasonable prices. Sole proprietor since 1969, Ramon has been a consistent figure in providing the best yet in Mexican food. Love the margarita's, with or without salt! chips and dip always served, staff is hard working and smiles. Try beef burritos with green chili. chicken or beef fajitas with all the extras, always fresh, Sopaipilla are the best in town, when fried are the biggest I've seen with honey, really completes the meal. Enjoy! Thank you Ramon and your staff, keep up the good work!

Best in Denver for 30 years. I've been going to Senior Pepe's since I was a kid. Now that I've moved to the east coast, I make a point of going to Senior Pepe's every time I'm in town. Best green chili ever

Best Mexican Food in the Area. This is Denver's best kept secret for Mexican food. All of the food is outstanding and the waitstaff is hilarious. The burritos and fajitas are top notch and the decor tops it off wonderfully.

Best Mexican food!. My parents loved this restaurant and the people there so much, they had their Wedding rehearsal dinner at Pepe's. Two grown children and 30 years later, we are still going. The green chile is the best in town. Relleno's are excellent, Chimichangas are superb, The enchildas are delicious, the "el burro" is the best burrito i've ever had, and my absolute favorite is the breaded veal cutlets smothered in green chile-to die for! They also have a great selection of tequilas and great margaritas. The staff is also great. I could go on forever...bottom line, Best Mexican food in denver by a mile

Nice and tasty. Servings are large, prices are reasonable and service is great. Food is tasty. Overall a pretty darn good place to go. It has been in the neighboorhood for years and remains a great choice to go to.

Best Mexican Food. This is the best mexican food ever! I have been eating at Senor Pepes since the late 70's and the authentic flavor, wonderful taste, and excellent service have been consistent throughout the years. I moved away from Denver in 1985, but I always make periodic trips back to Denver just to eat at Senor Pepes. Their signature is the green chili, or "chili-verde" which is terrific on burritos or enchiladas. The chili relleno is a highly recommended dish.

The best kept secret in Denver. We've been going to Senior Pepe's since it first opened in the early 70's. Their food has authentic flavors - their salsa is unique and tasty. Their naked chile rellenos are the best with their pork green chile. We plan a visit to Senior Pepe's whenever we visit the Denver area.
