My husband and I always feel welcome. The staff really shows that they care about thier customers. It is always very clean even when they are busy. My husband always orders a mexican dish because he loves the green chili here. I do have to say the green chil is some of the best I have had. We also stop in for Thursday shake night. They have so many tasty flavors. One important thing that has always caught my eye there, is that they seem to be involved in quite a few events involving the community, such as the car shows and a charity called Project Angel Heart. I think that tells alot about the ownership and management of Great Scott's.
I like this place and it's good enough for me..
I always go here. The food is always great for the price, the waitresses are attentive but there are a -couple- that can be alittle bitchy at night. But whatever, I don't let their attitudes ruin my good meal. For the most part, they leave us alone except to check up on us.
Their day shift are real pleasant but the place gets pretty packed.
I love they always hold car shows and have an endless chicken strip deal. Compared to other 50's themed diners, this place is great for the price.
Great food, excellent prices. We had driven past this place many times and finally decided to try it. We had nothing but excellent food and service, their breakfast can't be beat, nice big portions and always tastes great. We have since been back several times and have always been happy. Have even taken family members who usually dislike most resturaunts and they loved this one.
great scott review. ME and my husband go to Great Scotts every Friday night for dinner. we order tips over fries and tips over noodles my mom orders chicken fried steak the food is great we love it. The servers are very good and they sit us were we love to be seated. The servers almost always have a smile on their faces. The Great Scotts we go to is here in Denver on cortez st bhind it is the pima medical college. and post office. the music is great also.
Great Customer Service By A Trainee. My husband and I came in to Great Scotts for a quick lunch and we not only got fast service but we got great service from a new trainee at that location. We in which found out that she will be on nights which cause us to come back for dinner.. Thanks for the change.......
Water Isn't Free.... It was a fun night, the waitress was ok. She took our orders and 10-15 mins. later instead of the waitress, the night manager brought our food. Unfortunately, she said we had friends sitting with us that weren't eating so water was gonna cost us $1.89. Either the most expensive tap water or buy a soda. No staff warned any of us about this "policy" that if anyone not eating was to be charged for tap water. No signs, just the Let-Them-Order-Food-Then-Get-Em tactic . We were forced to buy sodas. Let me tell you, the night manager seems like she was disgusted with herself and life wasn't going anywhere for her , cause boy, she didn't even smile. Overall, staff attitude just seems to be the main reason Great Scott's is losing customers.
OK I give up..
We used to go to the Great Scotts on Hwy 36 and Pecos,
All the Foul Language used by the waitresses and the manager, well that was
all enough that my wife and I could take.
Sooo we started going to the one in Broomfield,
That was our perfect Burger Place.
There was a manager there that we really liked alot.
She was top notch, Ontop of how guests should be received and treated.
Where did she go? If anyone knows please respond to this site with a update.
We miss Kathy.
Now we no longer go to Either of the Great Scotts restaurants.
Now both restaurants have screaming yelling lady managers and the staff all seem
very unhappy.
Too bad such a happy place had to go so downhill.
Sorry We Wont be back!
Rudest place in town. I have been a great customer of Great Scott's for five years now. After today I can promise that I will never go there again after the way my girlfriend and I were treated. We showed up at 11 a.m. to have lunch as my girlfriend was out on lunch break for work. We stood in line to be seated for 10 minutes. Then another customer came up to pay and the phone also rang. So one of the waitresses answered the phone and then cashed out the customer and when she was done walked right past us like we weren't even there. My girlfriend said excuse me can we be seated when the waitress said "we don't have any tables available right now." To my amazement I was staring at at least four open tables. For one don't lie when the truth is right in front of me, two do not treat me like I am stupid. After my experience in there today I will never be back again. Great Scott's staff has become lazy and just plain out rude. On our exit the waitress said "fine leave". What has happened to customer service these days I can't believe how rude people can be and I am supposed to patronize them and allow them to have a job. Sorry not in my world. Besides things happen for a reason right, I can tell you Wendy's was much better tasting and a lot more friendly of a place so do everyone a favor and go to Wendy's and get great food and a great smile where they actually apprecieate you doing business with them.
Inexpensive meal out :D.
First time reviewer here ...
The wife and I like to try any and all restaurants out .. never know what one will find.
But we find Great Scott's to be the best dollar value .. and the portions are good .. the food tasty ... lately the service has gone down hill ... but that's what happens when employees turn over .. hopefully they will fix that problem
The beef stew is the best ... the mexican food is a good value ... I highly recommend it.
