only thing consistent is their incosistency. Finally gave up going there...service usually poor...got an uncooked pizza once, their excuse was their ovens went out??...so did they not think i'd notice???. i'm really surprised they are still around...i'm over them but there must be a lot of newbees willing to try them to keep them in biz...…
If I wanted pizza, I would opt for a good frozen brand.
I can't remember having a worst pizza.
the crust has the taste of a flavorless pretzel, unsalted
what tomato sauce is there (very little) has less taste than
something out of a jar.
The meat they call sausage is ground hamburger of
poor quality.
The cheese, i couldn't find or taste any
The pepperoni was paper thin and tasted like
pressed bacon chips
I think the mushrooms where of a frozen type, possibly
not thawed before making.
In fact i think the entire pizza was premade frozen with slight
alterations to fit the customers order
If the pizza was just cheap, I might be able to find a time when
it might be suitable for consumption. To add insult to the experience
the pizza is high priced and tables did feel greasy as mentioned in
a review I had read.
Thanks, and what do you want on your tombstone,. It will taste better.

Could I Get Some Pizza with My Pizza, Please?.
I was born in Colorado and have eaten at Beau Jo's in Idaho Springs many times after skiing. The pizzas are WAY overpriced for what you get, the service is SLOW and the pizzas have a HUGE rim of
crust that ends up being a huge ripoff.
I went there with a friend once, and we weren't very hungry, so we shared a small pizza. Well, after waiting about 1,000 years, they brought out this tiny pizza that was LITERALLY 2/3 CRUST with a small ring of cheese and mushrooms in the middle. I SWEAR the cheese center was about 5" in diameter, and the crust rim was about 3.5" wide, rendering you one 12" wide pizza with VIRTUALLY NO PIZZA IN THE PIZZA, all for about $12 before tax and tip.
I WAS SOOOOOOO ANGRY, because I hate being ripped off.
Bread is cheap and topings are expensive, which is why they scam you with pizzas that are mostly crust.
Much has been made of the honey-on-the-crust issue on this forum. Well sure, it tastes good, but for th price of a Beau Jo's pizza you can get about 4 loaves of good bread and a big jar of honey at the supermarket and eat that to your heart's content.
Beau Jo's is ALL HYPE, period. Old Chicago makes WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY, WAY BETTER PIZZA.…
they won over this chicagoan. i love the idaho springs location, nothing like spending the day there and eating at beau jo's . I lived in denver for 3 years until moving to WI last year (i grew up in chicago). i really like the unique pizza, yeah the crust is thick but it is yummy. crisp and great when dipped in honey. they also offer feta as a topping which is my favorite! i wish they had one here because i would love some right now!…
Unique pizza with great crust. This place is my husband's favorite. The reason is the honey whole wheat crust which is healthy and very tasty. This place has a variety of pizza to satisfy food allergies and choices. The vegetarian pizzas do lack some flavour though, I am already sick of eating her. If one has kids though it looks like a wonderful place since they make fabulous balloons!…
