Tips for Atomic Records Denver

Whachu talkin bout Willis?. Recordbuyer's pretty bad ass, but dead wrong. Atomic certainly isn't a rat's nest (yet it also isn't a high-end, "Antiques Roadshow" premium record collector's boutique). It just has a ton of great vinyl, CDs, and DVDs to chose from at pretty close to rock-bottom prices. (Maybe that's why they didn't offer you $300 for your record -- they know their customers are looking for deals and re-sale prices that won't gouge their wallets.) And their green tag sale is the best way to get a butt load of disks for less than a dinner out. And as for that smell you smelled... the clerk (who was both helpful AND knowledgeable) said the recent sub-zero weather burst the pipes out back and all is repaired. The only smell I found at Atomic was the scent of bargains!

Bad customer service. This place is a joke, It smells like a rats nest inside and the prices and selections are pretty sad.

Typical colorado customer service, rude, Ignorant and sloppy. I attempted to sell a rare piece of vinyl here and they offered me pennies for something worth around $300, I went to another place down the street and got $180 for it plus a $30 store credit.

Find anything at this huge used and new CD supercenter.. In Short
Racks of CDs stretch across this sprawling space. Everything is catalogued in a database, and staff members are very helpful. Though Cheapo brings in anywhere from 100 to 400 used CDs every day, the old stuff is augmented by new discs to round out the selection. Though most activity centers on new arrivals, the shelves of green tags have bargains that are marred by visible scratches, but still play just fine.

It's a musical wonderland!. I love shopping at Cheapo! It's my favorite place to kill a couple of hours and the staff there is super-knowledgeable and friendly. Cheapo has a wide selection of new and used cds in every genre (even broadway shows!) and you can even listen to them before you buy. They also have posters, incense, stickers and patches, and lots of other cool accessories. I can get a lot of gift shopping done at Cheapo which makes my life much easier! This is, by far, the best used cd store in the city

Best deals in town!!. I love this place! I could spend hours just looking through all the bins, you never know what treasure you are going to find! You can listen to any used cd in the store. The employees at cheapo know their stuff and are will to help you find discs. They will buy any discs you bring them. Great for weeding through all your old discs.
