Happy happy happy. I love this place, Dave N. is so personable and honest with me about stuff, and their tech Tom is so knowledgeable and friendly. I tell all my friends to go there. So refreshing to trust who is working on my car.  View Less View More

Another great experience. Had an appointment for a oil change and free winter check. They got the oil change, and inspection done within 1 hour and had a few items that needed to be addressed. One of the items they said could wait till next oil change, the other item they took me into the shop and let me see what the issue was. I can't believe they took me into the shop and showed me! Wow I was impressed. I had them repair that item and they will repair the other item with my next oil change. To finish it off now they even work on Domestics, with this experience I will also be bringing in my truck.  View Less View More

Customer Service is very sad. I've taken my car to these guys several times based on their BBB rating and Tom Martino's referal list. Sad they don't know what customer service is. I wait 30 minutes to pick up my car while three other employee's just stood around because my service guy was dealing with another unhappy customer. Guys, get a clue, you want to keep your people happy, take care of them ASAP  View Less View More

Disappointed enough to decline their service. I have read the reviews and this place was suggested to me word of mouth. I went and they provided a free look at the issue. I had already indicated what I thought the issue was and it turned out to be correct.

So I have an idea in my head for how much this should cost to be repaired ($350).

They call and tell me that their is a whole lot of rust and the cost will be about $ 520. Now bear in mind this is a 1 hour job but they are saying 4 hours. (labor is about $100 parts $120)

I thought this figure was very high so I call the dealer ($375). Dealer charges $238/hour for labor and the cost of the parts are just a little bit more.

So I call back to ProAuto and let them know what I have found out and I am then informed that "the price quoted is to cover all of the "possible" extra time that "could" be needed to cover the repair so that they do not have to keep calling me and that if they did not have to do the extra work then they would not charge me. I asked him why he did not mention this when he first called me to do the quote. (no real answer to this)

But he said that the Technician said that they would do the repair for $365, 10 bucks less than the dealership (remember they only charge 100 for labor and the dealer charges 238 so not sure why they were only $10 less).

Does this sound fishy to you? They were nice enough but I just had a bad gut feeling on this and I want people to be honest with me and there was doubt about that.

By this point, the integrity of the shop is lost and I made the decision to go get the car. Do they do a good job? Many that have reviewed here think so and I can't say. However, do you think that, based on their quote of $550 that they would have actually charged me less if they did not have to do extra work? Based on their communication they caused me to doubt their integrity.

So, my suggestion is, do a little homework so that you are informed and tell them if you think there are any questions or anything that does not make sense. After all, they are running a business and their goal is to make money but I don't want pay someones bonus.  View Less
