WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!. After purchasing 3 flower pots here I got them home and they were too small. We tried to return them the same afternoon and only got the run-around f I purchased several pots here and spent a pretty penny on them. When I tried to return them because they were too small, all I got was the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. I understand they don't give refunds, but I did not see the sign while I was in there due to the fact that the salesman was trying to give me one of their cats and wouldn't take no for an answer. We tried to talk small business owner, to small business owner and said that we understand, but asked very professionally and nicely if they could make an exception. We only got accused of using them for a photo shoot (we're photographers) and the run around when we asked to speak to the owner. We left a message for the owner on their business line, and never got a call back. After 2 days, we finally went down there to talk to them in person, respectfully. He was the worst of them all! He didn't care about our future business, or the business of our friends and family that have shopped there (I'm kicking myself that I have referred people there recently). I guess our $140 is all he needs? We make exceptions to our policies to make our customers happy and hopefully to gain their future business and referrals (isn't that what customer service is all about?). I am completely APPALLED that any small business (especially in this economy) would treat people so badly. He told us to shop at those big "box stores" because, "that's where we belong". We ALWAYS try to support small, local businesses FIRST. But at least Home Depot provides better customer service!!! If he would have just given our money back, all of this would have gone away. I am infuriated at the way we were treated.
