Office Manager Ruins the experience. I will never use this clinic again due to the rudeness and lack of professional demeanor exhibited by the office manager. Drs. Howard and Hart were both great to work with, but the office manager ruined it for us. I would recommend VCA Anderson Animal Hospital or Douglas County Animal Hospital.…

GREAT Vet!. We found Drs. Howard and Hart on this website, actually. We googled them after we adopted a puppy from a rescue. Both vets are awesome and amazing. They really care about the animals and their owners.

Our puppy started acting funny around 6 months old so we took her in to see Dr. Howard. Dr. Howard found lesions on her spine in an x-ray and ran some tests. He was so excited (excited in a scientific way not a good way for us!) that he drove around to his fellow vet-friends to confirm what he saw (an extremely rare disease that has never been found in a 6 month old puppy).

We loved Dr. Howard so much, we recommended him to a family member who had been having problems with her 6 year old dog who would throw up every few weeks and stop eating. The dog had been hospitalized over night a few times, and previous vets couldn't find out what happened. Dr. Howard finally found a toothpick and operated on her right away. He also gave the owner his personal phone and cell since he would be at his son's for Christmas.

The dedication and knowledge that Drs. Howard and Hart have is amazing. As is their patience! Go see them!!!…

Great Vet Clinic!!. Drs. Howard & Hart are very knowledgeable about many topics of all animals. If they have an unusual case, they find the answer and explain their findings in laymens' terms. They show compassion for their patients, and when needed, provide a hand to hold when a difficult decision needs to be made. The staff is friendly and helpful, and provides excellent care for the patient. They have all been together for several years and are like 'family.' They work as a team to take care of your pet and make it easy for you when your pet is sick. They go the extra steps to ensure that trust with you and your pet!!…

Dr. Howard?! Certainly One of the Best Vets in Denver!! (And the Best Eyebrows too!). Seriously, Dr. Howard is everything you want in a vet: he's extraordinarily kind, he's gentle with your pets, he's attentive, he listens, and he takes as much time as necessary to explain what needs to be done and why. Dr. Howard is one of those vets who exudes enthusiasm for his work--- he's also just a great guy, very personable, engaging, and yeah, he's got some of the greatest, bushiest eyebrows ever! He's charming and utterly and absolutely competent. We feel blessed to have found such a great vet after moving here from Chicago.

The clinic itself is spotless and the techs are friendly and competent. It's a happy place where the vets and techs bring their pets to work. There's also a separate entry door for cats so you don't have to worry about the big dog off the leash waiting for his appointment who thinks the kitty might be a tasty snack.

Our reason for visiting; Our elderly Italian Greyhound needed dental work and we had received a quote from another clinic for almost $1000. Whoa! Alameda Vet Clinic did the work for less than half the quote. The clinic has a separate room reserved solely for dental work and both Dr. Howard and his partner have received specialized training in animal dentistry. They are also keen on pain management so we didn't have to worry that our dog would be in pain, especially after we brought her home.

We would esp. recommend this clinic for anyone who has a sighthound-- Italian Greyhounds, big Greyhounds, etc. They have special metabolic needs and Dr. Howard is especially adept with these types of dogs.…
