I am not a crook!!. I have probably ate there a dozen times or more over the past year. I enjoy the food so much a friend of mine gave me a twenty-five dollar gift certificate for Christmas. It consisted of a Christmas type card and a receipt. The receipt stated "Face Value (BALANCE): $25.00. I threw away the card and kept the receipt, it seemed like the thing to do. On Jan 5 after dining there the Manager refused to honor the receipt. I was blown away. I was told the Christmas card was the portion I should have saved.

I spoke with him personally but he was cold and callous and treated me like I was somekind of scammer. I'm a 57 year old man who's has no interest in trying to scam a free $25 meal! For crying out loud. I will never return!!  View Less

This food will do you in!. We drove out of the way to dine here. What a mistake!!! No Flavor-everything was flooded with cheese, and more cheese, and more cheese. Excess Cheese leads to excess grease floating on top of our plates! I like cheese, however, after scraping mounds of cheese and grease off of the plate, I was unable to eat what was on my plate.

I politely replied to the waitress that the food was not edible, and that I was unable to enjoy it due to the excess cheese/grease floating on top of the enchilada. She smiled, took our plates and presented us with the bill to pay in full. I then asked for a partial discount since my husband and I only ate 1/4th of the food (the tostada). End result, after talking to the "owner", she took a grand total of $2.00 off our bill! What an insult! This place will do you in- talk about clogging the arteries and they could care less if the customer is satisfied! I guess cheese is cheap-and the rest of the food comes from a can!  View Less

Editorial Review. Since 1984, this small family-owned restaurant chain serves tacos, fajitas, quesadillas, nachos, flan and fried ice creams; flavored margaritas available.  View Less View More

Moose Hill is the best.... I have been going to Moose Hill Cantina since I was 7 years old - that's been over 21 years. I've gotten to know the family and the people - and it has been consistently the best mexican food I've ever had in colorado for over 20 years. I highly recommend the rellenos!  View Less View More
