Great Work. I took my car into Pickering's because the check engine light was on and had 3 of the sensors showing errors. I was lucky to have them fix my car problems, but they took care of everything with the extended warranty company about covering the cost - They were terrific!! I also got a ride to work and they picked me up. My car runs great now.

Thanks for all your help.  View Less

Poor customer service and a rip off. They seem like a great business when you look at their website. But dont be fooled! They took advantage of us and charged over 230.00 for an inspection that was supposed to be 60.00 and had the vehicle for 2 days when they said it would take only 2 hours. When we got the vehicle back, we had major leaks and wires were sticking out. When we contacted the owner, he said his technician didnt do anything wrong to our vehicle. SO in other words, we are lying and he doesnt care that his tech screwed up our vehicle. Of course his tech is going to deny doing damage to our vehicle. We asked for the inspection money back. Still waiting for a response. Does not look likely. Will never go back to this auto shop and will tell everyone we know what a horrible place of business this is. Don't trust them.  View Less View More

Customer convenience is not at the top of their list. Twice I have inconvenienced Pickerings by trying to give them my business. I have gone to them off and on for approximately 10 years but I will not be returning. The last example of how I inconvenienced them is by making an appt. a week in advance for an oil change at 3:30pm. On the day of my oil change, I received a voice message in the morning from Pickerings asking where I was. I called back and advised I had made the appointment for 3:30pm. The tech went on and on about how oil changes were only done in the a.m. because their bays get filled up in the afternoon. Randy never mentioned this when I made the appointment. I told the tech I would call at 3pm and see if they could get me in. When I called at 3pm, the tech informed me that they could not do my oil change even though I made an appt. a week ahead of time and scheduled around it. I don't believe this company in clear on the fact that they are in a service oriented business.  View Less View More

The first honest repair shop I've ever found. I mean that...... If I had a dollar for every time I got ripped off at an auto repair place, I could.......buy some Jimmy Choos. I called Pickerings, reamed them...said I know you guys are going to probably lie to me just like every other repair shop. But my neighbor swore they were good guys. I took my car in that had an electrical problem. At least that's what I thought. They called me at the end of the day to let me know it was a simple loose connection and only charge the diagnosis fee. I can't believe it. This is too good to be true. Especially in this economy. You just expect to be taken advantage of. They must have done something to my radio antenia too, because I'm getting better reception.

Strong recommendation. They really are good people.  View Less

Saved me a ton of money. I took my car in for an alignment. I received a call back from the mechanic, he said my car didn't need an alignment, that my tires were out of round. That was what caused my vehicles poor performance. At first I didn't believe him. I had never heard of an out of round tire before. Anyway I took the tires back to the "discount" tire place I bought them from, and got them replaced free. So these guys saved me a ton of money, and I got 4 new tires! He could have said some other line of bs, and kept charging me for additional work that I didn't need, but he didn't. They were honest and had integrity. I recommend them for sure.  View Less View More
