Can't be beat!. This place is by far the best Mexican food in Colorado! Being a TEXAS girl who moved to Colorado for a stay I craved the tastes of home. The first time I ate there I had the Chicarron Burrito....and ate it so fast that I ordered ANOTHER ONE! It was truly the best thing I'd had since leaving my home state where the Mexican food is part of every day life. I lived in Lakewood for a bit over 2 years and I would bet I ate there on average at least twice a week the entire time! The Tacos Al Carbon are delicious too....but really everything I tried was so good! The portions are big and the prices are small. The owner, Joaquin (who goes by Jack), is there every night to greet and serve his guests. They remember you, call you by name, and treat you like family. I've since moved back to the great state of TEXAS but I crave this food on a regular basis ..... to a point where I've planned our next family vacation as a camping trip to CO...just so I can have a Chicarron burrito one more time!

You will be amazed by how Friendly the Staff is!!!! Free chips and Salsa is brought frequently to your table.

The Salsa is homemade, small chunks of tomato, peppers, cilantro and other herbs blend to make a deep dark roasted red color.The flavor has depth and freshness too, it makes me think that this is true homemade salsa with tortilla chips in mind, this is not like the store bought stuff you'll find at other places, with huge chunks of tomato that break your chip in half and then splash on your clothing. This place is different, you will feel that these folks have earned your business and will welcome you back anytime!!!
