awful experience

I scheduled a regular annual with Dr. Volin, three weeks in advance!
I arrived at 3 pm with my forms already filled out, and was told that there would be a 30 minute wait, b/c the Dr was running behind. Ok, not a big deal. However, 45 minutes later I still had not been called. When I was finally called in, I was notified that Dr. Volin was not available b/c he had been paged to attend a delivery. So, after a one hour wait + the 30 minutes I spent filling out the forms at home, all I got was to pay a $25 co-pay and a hasty prescription for my birth control. No annual exam, no personal attention, no time to ask questions or talk to a doctor. I will not go back to Women's Health Group ever again. And I cannot recommend it to anyone.
- Cons: impersonal,
Wonderful place with the best care for women

I was refered to Dr. Cindy Long 9 years ago and have been going to her ever since no matter where I moved to in the Denver, Metro area. Her, her staff and her co-worker Doctors are all great. I've seen her for everything and now for my first pregnancy, which is high risk. She's really understanding, has always taken the best path for me and really listens to all my questions, being careful to offer all choices and make recommendations instead of demands. I couldn't imagine anyone else delivering my baby or taking care of all of my OBGYN needs. I highly recommend her to anyone. My husband also feels very comfortable with her. When he thought about changing health insurance policies he made sure she was on ours because we weren't going to change doctors.
- Pros: Plenty of parking, never too long a wait, good enviornment, great doctors and friendly staff, wonderful response to after hour emergencies
Overall a wonderful physician!

Dr. Long is a overall a great doctor. We went to her for our prenatal care with excellent recommendations from multiple people. We received nothing but excellent care from her and have felt completely safe with her. The only thing negative we can say is that she tends to be high on medical interventions during pregnancy. We are very conservative when it comes to labor and delivery and our view have differed significantly with hers. When I approached my third trimester, I was offered an elective induction at almost every visit. We are more of the approach of letting things happen naturally. So if you are someone who is more of the inclination towards having a more medical hands on pregnancy and prenatal care than she is the right physician for you!
