Good food - terrible to women!!!

My husband and I visited for lunch a few weeks ago, especially as we both very much love Indian food. The waiter spoke to my husband and did not acknowledge me. As he was taking our (?!) drink order, I asked for a soda. You'd have thought I had asked him to cut his hand off or something. He looked at me with such hatred in his eyes and walked away. He did bring our drinks, again, without acknowledging me at all. I went to the buffet area and was placing some lunch items on my plate. A waiter knocked into me, and rather than issue a statement of any kind to me, he glared at me, swore under his breath and proceeded to stock items in the buffet. I thought between the two waiters, perhaps I was just imagining such rude behavior, but my husband noticed as well, especially when our table waiter stopped back by and continued ignoring me. I made eye contact with him, took the bill from him and paid for our food. Normally I leave a very nice tip...not this time! Here's a tip for you: Good food only gets you so far...there's certainly enough competition. You'd do well to treat women customers with at least the same courtesy you reserve for your male customers! Needless to say, we won't be back.

Came for lunch

I wanted to treat my boyfriend for the first time and was REALLY disappointed when I saw like 4 items to chose from from the buffet. The food was good though for what they had, but I was really sad when they didn't have the blocks of cheese in the spinach dish. And only ONE desert?!! Come on :(

Highly Disappointed

I read the reviews and decided to check this place out. As I entered the restaurant, the atmosphere was really nice, but the waitstaff don't have personalities. My boyfriend is not a picky eater, and was not impressed with this place. We ordered an apetizer and I was disappointed because I felt like I was eating grease over and over. The only thing I enjoyed about the meal was the Tandoori bread, and the salad which I could make at home. I ended up paying $64 for an apetizer, a glass of wine, and 2 meals. For this price, I should have taken him downtown.

I would definitely think twice before dining here.

• Cons: The food was terrible.
