Pat's Philly Steaks & Subs

No Consistency. I eat at the Iliff location frequently, but mostly during the week. I have the same sandwich every time. Ordered to go today (Sunday 2:15PM), and a different person was making the sandwiches. Got home and opened it. It totally fell apart. The meat, lettuce, tomato, peppers, etc. all fell out. The sandwich was not cut all the way and more of mess resulted.

The worst was that the sandwich did not taste anything like the other dozens of sandwiches I have eaten there. This guy left off 2 of the peppers I asked for and put no hot relish or oil and vinegar on the sandwich. It was just a mess that had to be rebuilt, and then when I finally bit into it, it tasted like a dry bread and meat sandwich- no spice, just lettuce, and a ton of it, tomato and dry meat. Horrible. This guy really needs some remedial training!

Customer Service Sucks. Just tried to email then from their website and got it returned, no big surprise I have always eaten one type of Cheese Steak for the most part, the Pizza Cheese steak since before I left phila….

I keep on coming into the one off Quebec and being disappointed. Not exactly in their food but by a request I make and being told no problem.

I like the pizza cheese steak with the sauce mixed in with the meat rather than a condiment topping. I request this and am told no problem. I get home and its not like I request but as a condiment on top. I had to try to mix it up at home which makes it more messy as the meat and bread falls apart. I swear if the place down the street on Peoria had better bread you guys would never see me again. They honor my request….

Good Subs... Bad Customer Service Experience. 6/30/2010 - I called at 7:43pm to hve a sub made. The employee advised that they were only doing walk-ins. As I was talking, I was hung up on. I was just advising that I was around the corner...literally. So I walked up there.... Now being 7:47pm... The door is locked...and the guy in there (who hung up on me) sees me and ignores me. I've never had this experience here with other employees that manned the register. 4 years of great service and being my favorite spot...DEAD! Never going back to that location! Used to be the best. Yes, they may have the best cheesesteaks in Denver, but at this particular location the service and food quality has gone downhill over the past year or two and I still get it about once a week or so. The meat portions are less and less every time. I mean yeah the economy stinks, but if I am paying 10 bucks for a 2 dollar sandwich you better throw some friggin meat on there. If i wanted a salad on bread that's what I would have went to Subway! The worst thing is the attitude of the people that run the register. I won't get into semantics, but the guys that run this location are the worst! One of them once put a tip onto my card, which I did not put on there. WTF is up with that? This is the only Pat's I have been to, but I am pretty sure the Philadelphia attitude is not supposed to come with my cheesesteak.
