I and three others went to Damons 011511, 730 at night. The place was very empty, several people at the bar maybe one or two tables occupied. The hostess who greeted us was nonchalant and directed us to a table in the bar area rather than escort us.
Gave us some menus and there we sat. And sat. And sat. There were several wait staff around and two at the bar... Zero service. We walked out, never to return.
My guess - they will be closed within a year.
Only reason we went here is because of a gift certificate from restaurants-dot-com. Went on a Friday night - the place was nearly empty (bad sign). Server was very nice. It was happy hour - cheap beers that were cold and good. But there's just little else positive I can say. Server and/or cook forgot my shrimp, prime rib was not good at all (can get much better at Texas Roadhouse for 30% less!), mashed potatoes were cold, dressing did not taste fresh. My wife ordered the ribs - they were tough! Then our server disappeared (was more interested in chatting with boys apparently). Even the projection screens were not setup right! Seems to me that this place is barely hanging on and the staff has given up (especially the kitchen).
