Sooo good!. Heidi's has the best sandwiches in Denver, actually the best sanwiches ever! They make all their own bread so it's always soft and fresh. I would definitely recommend the Cajun Avacado Turkey. Thier potato salad is also REALLY good. Every sandwich I've had from there has been delicious!

New York City deli arrives in Denver, taste intact, minus the attitude.. In Short
Heidi's satisfies the craving for everything from liverwurst to garden burgers. The place fills up for several hours around lunch time, people lined up to the door, shouting their order to one of several employees over the counter. All the favorites are here: creamy egg salad, spicy salami, thick meatloaf with ricotta and one of Denver's best Ruebens. Sandwiches are served on choice of bread, also available by the loaf.

Best Sandwiches Around!. I absolutely love Heidi's. There's one up where I live and one downtown right by my work, and I eat at both frequently. The one downtown has a much better ambience. It seems much cleaner and roomier. However, both locations provide the greatest sandwiches! I have yet to eat something at Heidi's that isn't absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the cajun crabcake and cajun turkey with avocado sandwiches especially!

Piled High & Fresh!. Heidi's isn't much to look at. The very minimal dining area is just enough to accommodate scarfing down your sandwich. No table service here, just let the people at the counter know what you want and they'll pile the meat on your choice of bread ( you can't beat their home made ciabatta bread) slap on the condiments, and let you choose from potato salad or chips. This place is not much on ambiance but you won't find a better sandwich. They also feature a few soups, desserts, a bagels for breakfast.
