Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors. Regional chain features an authentic-feeling Mexican theme and dependable food in large portions.
Very rude staff! Don't use a credit card!. I was charged twice on my credit card for the same meal. When I brought in a bank statement to get refunded for the extra amount, the manager INSISTED on keeping my bank statement (how is that EVER okay?!?!) After I demanded that she give me back my bank statement, I heard her remark to a server that, "This b-tch just wants to get us in trouble." They never once apologized to me for THEIR mistake! Completely unreal!!! To top it off, the food is okay, but nothing too exciting, and the service is very slow. Save your money and go to Santiago's, 3 Margaritas, Ajuua, or any other Denver Mexican restaurant. If you feel like risking The Armadillo, be sure to pay with cash!
Best of the three. This Armadillo is definately the best of the three resturants they have. I used to live around the corner from the one in Littleton. Now I live by the one in Northglenn. This one is SO much better. The food and drinks are the same. What makes the difference between them is the atmosphere. The atmosphere here is great. A much more authentic feel to the mexican food they serve. Great place to eat any night of the week.
