Birthday night bummer. I planned a fabulous night for my best friend's birthday to have a night away to relax without the kids. We were disappointed to find when we wanted to relax outside and sun, there was really no place to do so. There was a tiny terrace that about 10 people were crammed on to. They didn't have any lounge chairs outside, so people were pulling them from inside the pool area. Since the pool was inside and not convenient for summer. Before we went to dinner, we wanted to relax and watch a little TV, except they didn't have any channels we wanted to watch. Yeah, there was a nice TV, but no oxygen, MTV or Bravo. So we decided to turn it to a music channel and they wanted $5 to listen to it. I asked the concierge for a dinner recommendation. We had a party of 8 joining us for dinner. He recommended Venice. the concierge was very helpful, but unfortunately our experience at Venice was extremely poor. Undercooked food, a server that was not around and too noisy to hear any conversation. After dinner we decided to go back to our hotel and relax. The birthday girl wanted to go in the hot tub, which we were so excited about being outside. Come to find out after we were in our suits and on the hot tub floor it closes at 10. I would understand 12 but 10 PM, people are not back from dinner yet, and who wants to us the hot tub during the day? So I called to see if they would open it for us, and a manager came up and told us no, because his words " we could die, because it is going through a cleaning process". Seems pretty extreme. Too many wrongs to make a nice, relaxing night. Due to all of this, we would not return.

The Finest Luxury Hotel In The DTC. This is an excellent venue for large conventions. There's fine dining within, and several fine restaurants and nightclubs within a ten minute drive. Park Meadows is within easy reach. The rooms are large and comfortable with excellent views of the Rockies.
